When I reach Nick's room, Chris is still sat on the bed, both waiting for my return. "That was quick. Am I going to get killed?" Nick asks as soon as he notices me.
"What happened?" Chris adds.
"No ,you're not getting murdered. Not yet anyway." I grin, and Nick throws a pillow at me. "We've sorted it out. You were right Nick, I really should listen to you more."
"I beg to differ. He's not usually right," Chris jokes, and I laugh, much to Nick's disappointment.
"I came to say, very reluctantly admitting this to you two after this morning, I'm staying with Matt tonight." Their answer is a bunch of 'ooh's and wolf whistles, and I can't help but roll my eyes. "You two are the worst."
"You love us really," Chris grins, putting his arms around my shoulders,
"Not as much as she loves Matt though," Nick adds with a wink.
"Literally hate the pair of you." I say, making my way out of Nick's room, and back down to Matt's. "Knock knock," I push the door open. "Still room for me?"
"Of course," he meets my gaze with a grin, and I slide into the bed next to him. "Sorry I read that diary thing of yours."
"I'm not."
"Not what?"
"Not sorry." I smile. "If you hadn't read it I wouldn't have experienced the best kiss of my life."
"It was the only kiss of your life?"
"True. But that makes it the best."
"I think you're an idiot." His voice is soft, as is his smile. He leans in and greets me with another gentle kiss. "But an idiot I love."
"I must be an idiot to go for you," I smile against his lips, refusing to pull away.
"When's this wedding again?"
"God knows. I don't want to think about that."
"When's our wedding then?"
At this I pull back, and start chuckling. "Don't let my mum catch you saying that Matthew, she'll think it's a proposal."
"Maybe it was," he laughs, but I just stare at him. "Okay, okay! I won't mention marrying you in front of your mum."
"Good. Now go to sleep."
