"Daniel... you know that Clover won't like that. Their birthday has to be special! I know I am not the best mother but you getting them something that isn't perfect for them won't help," Your mother says. She is trying her best for you, but she doesn't bother to even know what you like.
"Okay well, you haven't gotten anything for them, have you?" Dan looks at his gorgeous wife. He loves her with his whole heart. "Listen Brittany, I know you don't exactly know everything about them but I'm sure they'll be happy we even thought about them. I care about Chloe- I mean... I'm sorry, I mean Clover. They're a wonderful young adult, and we should be good parents by caring about them."
Brittany stares at Dan. She knows that Dan tries so hard to be a good step-dad. To be just as good as Tucker is. His step-child's father is just about the nicest man he's ever met. "I know Clover needs more of those fancy pens... were they called micron? I think that's it. I know they aren't cheap, so maybe they'll like that?" Brittany walks around the dining room table into the kitchen. "Or maybe flowers? I heard they have a boyfriend from Percilla."
"Who's Percilla again? Their cousin, right?" Dan questions from the living room.
"Oh no, not at all. I'd be horrified if Percilla was related to my child. Percilla is that one lesbian girl that works at the café with Clo. Blue hair, remember?" Brittany starts looking through a drawer filled with random things nobody ever found a place for. The drawer is named "The Junk Drawer".
Dan nods. "Alright. Well, why don't we go to the craft store and find something for them, hm?" He walks over to his wife, and kisses her on the cheek.
"Okay Dan. We can go do that in a couple minutes, I need to freshen up my makeup first."
"Clover my love, are you done yet? Killer wants to get going. He's impatient, you know that," Nightmare knocks on the bathroom door of your apartment. You're changing clothes, getting in something fancy because your boyfriends want your birthday to be something special.
"Well tell him to hold his horses. I'm almost done," You call out. Today is going to be amazing, you and your boyfriends have planned everything out. Where you're going to eat, what you're going to do, and how late you're going to stay out. You're excited, this is going to be the best birthday you've had in a while.
After jumping through a shortcut, you find yourself at the castle. You're really excited.
"So uh, what do you want to do? Night was thinking about just dancing and talking," Killer says, kind of leaning into your side. He's always been adorably affectionate with his nudging. You lean your head onto his shoulder and giggle.
"Well of course we can do that. I was thinking of maybe playing some video games today actually. That sounds fun, but mister regal sophisticated might not exactly love playing games," You remark, still walking alongside Killer. You hear a small chuckle, the kind you hear when he has something mischievous on his mind.
Killer stops in his tracks and turns to you. He grabs your shoulders and smiles. "Exactly! It'd be SO fucking funny to see boss try to play a video game. AND! It's your birthday so he can't say no!" His plan is flawless. He feels quite proud of it, laughing menacingly.
You giggle too. "That's an amazing idea, Kills. I'm totally gonna do that. Amazing mind of yours, babe."
Killer almost starts walking again but froze completely as you finished your response. You immediately notice the flush on his face and start giggling even more. You suppose he isn't used to being called any affectionate names by you. "Nutmeg, you really just said that?"
You figure it would be funny if you play dumb in this situation. "Said what? I'm just saying I like your idea," You tilt your head slightly, smiling from ear to ear. His face just got even more red.
