8- Accidents

"Thrid place is... One Direction!" Everyone screamed. I stood backstage cheering for my best friend and his band. Ever since the judges put Harry through the first show everything changed. He was always busy rehearsing for the live shows. He didn't make it through the judge's house's so he was put into a boy group with 4 other boys. I was really happy for them all, but I was getting really sad about it because he was always with them. I mean I get that they have to get to know each other and all, but now it seems like he never has time for me. I only met the 4 other boys once, they seem really nice.

After each of the boys told them thanks and all that stuff they all came back stage. Harry ran up to me and gave me a giant hug. "Congrats Harry! You guys did amazing!" I smiled into his neck, I was so proud of him. "Thanks love" he hugged me closer to him then he pulled away and smiled at me. He whispered in my ear, "Ask your dad if you can go hang out with some friends tonight, we're all going to Louis' place to hang out and I want you to go." He turned and went to hug his mom and sister. I texted my dad, 'Hey dad, Harry wants to know if I can go over and hang out with him and some friends' Harry came over and hugged me again. "Jess I have to tell you something.." I turned to face him, "What?" he just looked at me then around us. "Come here." He lead me over to the corner, "Jess you know that now that we got signed Im gonna be really busy right?" He looked at me and I swear I saw tears in his eyes. "Jessica, I think I like you. You don't have to feel the same about me but I just needed to tell you cause it's been bugging me all week." I looked at him, "oh my gosh Harry. You decide to tell me 2 days before you leave to go start a major career?!" I was so confused, why didn't he tell me before? "Jess I was afraid to tell you. I didn't know how to tell you or how you would react." He looked at the ground and I saw a tear fall down his cheek. I walked closer to him and hugged him tight. "Harry, don't cry. I love you and you know that, nothing is going to change that. Just give me time to figure out my feelings for you." My phone vibrated, I felt him get it out of my back pocket. I laughed, "your dad said you could come over and you might as well sleep over to." He sniffed , I pulled out of the hug, "Harry stop crying." His 4 band mates walked over to where we were, "Harry mate you ok?" One of them asked, "yeah Niall, I'm ok." He wiped his eyes then turned to the boys. "Jessica this is Ni-" "woah woah woah woah woah, we can introduce ourselves, I'm Niall." He came and hugged me, "Jessica" I smiled. "Hi I'm Zayn." He just smiled at me, must be quiet I thought. "HI! IM LOUIS." He pulled me into the tightest hug ever. "Louis you're gonna squish her!" Harry yelled. Louis dropped me then winked. I turned to the last one, he was staring at me. He had really pretty eyes and I have to admit he was pretty cute. "I'm Liam and I'm sorry he did that." He pulled me into a gentle hug, we hugged for what seemed like forever. What am I thinking?! "Well Jess can come stay with us!" Harry said. They all cheered then we got in the limo.

When we got to Louis' house we went inside and all sat on the couch. "What you guys.. And girl want to do?" He asked. "Watch tv?" Zayn suggested, "boringggg" Louis said. "Eat!" Niall yelled we all laughed. "How about swim?" Liam asked looking at me. "Sure" I smiled, he smiled back and my stomachs went crazy. We all decided on swimming and then went to change. I went upstairs and put on my turquoise bikini. I walked out to the back where all 5 boys were already in. I set my towel down then looked up at them. They were a staring at me. "What?" I asked. "Holy shi* Jess. You're hot!" Harry yelled. The others shook their heads in agreement. I laughed then jumped in the pool. I started swimming up but hit my head. I panicked and tried swimming faster. I screamed and couldn't find the top and then everything went black.

I opened my eyes and felt a sharp pain. I closed my eyes again. "She's waking up." I heard someone say. I tried to open them again and ended up squinting. "Hey Jess. How you feeling?" "Harry?" I asked. "Yeah, all the boys are here to." I blinked a couple times then looked around. They were all surrounding my.. Bed? "Where am I?" "You hit your head when you tried swimming up. Liam tried CPR but you weren't breathing so we called 911. They said you had a slight concision but you'd be fine." I looked at Liam, he was smiling at me. I smiled back, "wait so where am I?" "In the hospital." Louis said. "Oh.." I looked down, I was still in my bikini. The boys looked to where I was looking then they blushed. "Here." Harry handed me a hoodie. "Thanks." The boys left except for Liam. "Why are you staying?" I asked as I put my hoodie on, I hit my head on the wall so Liam came to help me. "Thanks.. Again." He laughed, "well that for one, and I'm not leaving your side." He looked at me with sympathy in his eyes. "Why? I'm seriously fine Liam." "I know, but I'm not risking anything. You... I don't know how to explain it. I feel like... I don't know.. Attracted to you. Like I need to protect you." He looked at me then sat on my bed. I sat up careful to where my head was going. "Liam... I-I don't know what to say, I guess I feel the same towards you." He smiled. "Really?" "Yeah, I mean, you did save my life, I guess I do feel like I need to protect you." He smiled. Then sat up by me. He wrapped his arm around me then layed down. "Go to sleep Jess." I didn't argue. I let my eye lids close. Before I was in complete utter darkness I felt Liam kiss my forehead and then heard the boys come in. Then I was asleep
