Kelsey

I walked through the pavement, currently spaced out and trying to focus where I was going until I heard someone screaming after something.

I stopped dead on my tracks and whipped my head towards the sound. Some little girl's dog ran in the middle of the street while a expensive looking car was making its way towards the dog.

I didn't know what I was doing, but I ran across the street and swooped the dog in my arms. My leg slightly collided with the car's headlights, causing me to fall with my back hitting the stoned ground, being careful not to hurt the dog.

I groaned getting up, limping towards the little girl, handing her dog back. She quietly said her 'thank you' and ran back inside her house. I sat on the sidewalk and whimpered when I saw the bruise forming on my leg.

"You could've been killed." A voice spat.

I looked up to see a guy with bright blue eyes in a tuxedo staring back at me with an angry expression written on his face.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly, looking at my bruised leg.

"Whatever, get in the car." He said sternly.

"Why?" I said, suspense filling my voice.

"Do you even want to goddamn heal that piece of shit or not?!" He said pointing at my bruise in the verge of yelling and losing his patience.

"How can I get up, when this is getting worse." I said referring to my bruise. I heard him muttering swear words and walked over to me, grabbing me by my arm and literally threw me on the passenger seat. I flinched when he slammed the doors shut.

He started up the car and sped up to the direction of the hospital, his hands gripping the steering wheel so tight that his knuckles turned white.

"You could've left me you know." I said breaking the ungainly silence. Instead of answering, he ignored me until we got to the hospital.

"Here's cash, now get the fuck out." He said harshly handing me cash. I looked at him and between the cash he just gave me. I can see he was getting impatient so, he turned to me with the most intent stare.

"I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT!!" He yelled. I sighed in defeat handing him back his cash.

"Thank you." I smiled and got out of the car. As soon as I got out, he quickly sped off leaving me standing infront of the hospital like an idiot.

But, I limped myself inside anyways.

When I got back to my apartment, my brother rushed towards me with the most worried expression.

"What the hell, Kelsey! Where were you? I was worried sick! What the fuck happened to your leg?! Godammit Kelsey, answer me!!" Aaron panted.

"Chill bro. My leg just collided with some rich guy's headlights in saving the little girl's dog." I shrugged, patting him at the back.

"You're fucking insane." Aaron stated.
"Which rich guy are you talking about?" He continued.

"Uh, blonde hair, blue eyes, six feet tall, has an Australian accent, quite youthful and bitter." I enumerated.

"Ah, Luke Hemmings, but he's not bitter though. He was actually kind-hearted and nice." He said walking over to the kitchen with me trailing behind him.

"Oh, if you considered him yelling at me to get out of his car was nice, then that's great." I said, sarcasm rolling off my tongue.

"Wow, you must be really ugly, then." He laughed. I slapped him playfully and rolled my eyes.

"How old is he anyways?" I asked.

"I think, he's about my age so, 24 or 25, I dunno." He said.

"How did you know about him, then?"

"Mutuals." He shrugged, taking a grape, tossing it inside his mouth.

"Okay then." I said going to my room and shut the door. I went to the bathroom and did my routines. After that, I layed down, staring at the ceiling, letting my imaginations dominates my way of thinking. But in the back of my mind, I couldn't help but think,

Why was Luke so bitter?

How can he be nice before?

What happened to him?

Why is he so attractive?

Wait, what?
