Welcome to The Empire - TJP [Fluff]

'The things I do for love' I thought to myself as I pondered the situation I was in. I hadn't been with my boyfriend for long, but I was changing a part of my career for him, altering my character and vastly changing my travel schedule. But he was worth it. Funny, witty, passionate and damn sexy. I loved his tattoos, his deep brown eyes, his insane friends, his taste in music, his talent in the ring, all things that made me fall for him so fast. Being a wrestler meant traveling a lot, and dating a wrestler in a different promotion meant not seeing a whole lot of each other, so I would be joining the faction he was part of, considering their members wrestled for several companies, it meant we could promotion hop together. A plan had been set, but I'd been left to do my makeup and get ready, while the guys spoke to higher ups to change it slightly. The crowd roared in the arena as I sat nervously in the locker room. Tapping my foot anxiously, I awaited the answer from Tony, the boys had gone to tell him our idea, and the anticipation was killing me.

The plan was to announce tonight that I had joined The United Empire, but we'd come up with an interesting way to do it that would stir things up a bit. Will Ospreay had beef with Adam Cole, and the story had been told in the last few weeks that it was between two factions, not just two men, so along with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Champions, Francesco Akira and TJP, Will was going to face Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly at the next Pay Per View. Tonight's antics could affect that match, if we got the go ahead from Tony Khan. Currently, the plan for tonight's Dynamite was for Adam, Kyle and Bobby to go to the ring, and talk shit for a while, only to be interrupted by Ospreay, Akira and TJP then a brawl would break out, leaving The United Empire boys standing tall, where they would announce they were expanding, and introduce me as the newest member. However, TJ and Will had an idea to make things a little more personal.

The door opened and I saw my boyfriends grinning face "He loved it!" TJ said walking over to me to scoop me into a hug and give me a quick kiss as Akira and Will followed him into the room. "The Undisputed don't know about the match change, they're just being told to take Britt out with them and let her talk shit too." Will said, a smug look on his face, clearly proud of his idea. Adam Cole was dating the AEW Womens Champion, Britt Baker, so adding her to this was going to be fun. The guys started getting themselves ready, when TJ leaned over "I spoke to Tony, and if it's okay with you, he wants us to go public tonight. I know we've only been dating like 6 months, but he thinks the personal connection will help, and that the fans will love it, so if it's okay with you, I'm not hiding it" He spoke softly, searching my eyes, a hopeful look on his face, I smiled and nodded, "Let's do it, it's going to come out eventually" He smiled wide at my response before kissing my hand and getting up to get ready. I was a little worried about it as we hadn't been together long and though I loved him and was sure he loved me, neither of us had actually said it yet.

We all walked down to gorilla as I admired my new ring gear, Black and Green with Gold accents to match the rest of the Empire. When we got there, we saw on the monitors that Undisputed were already in the ring talking smack about being the best in this company, then I saw Adam hand the mic to Britt, her tittle draped over her shoulder, TJ held my hand a gave it a squeeze as we watched her begin "I mean, we are the best, me especially. I still hold this championship because I am unbeatable, I have beaten every woman here and nobody has the support behind them that I do," she said, gesturing to the 3 mean flanking her "and most importantly, nobody has the balls to step up to me" she smirked, when all of a sudden, Ospreay's theme began to play, United Empire flags covering the screens as the lights in the arena all turned Green. The boys all smiled at me and TJ gave me a quick kiss before walking up the steps to make their entrance. I watched the monitor as Will, TJ and Akira walked out of the tunnel onto the stage, all wearing their own tittle belts and sporting cocky smirks.

The crowd went wild as they walked on stage, Will holding a mic "You may think you're the best around, but you all know, nobody is on our level. Yeah you might be running things here, but The Empire are running things everywhere else, so I think it's time we stake our claim in AEW as well, and show you that you're not as good as you think you are." He continued his smirk as he spoke, before handing the mic over to TJ, who followed on from what Will had started "With that in mind, we decided to make things a little more interesting, because we can beat these boys easy and Britt, I disagree with you, there is one woman here, you've never beaten. She's stronger than you, faster than you, and let's face it, she's much better looking." he paused as the crowd reacted to his comment, Britt looking mortified in the ring while Adam screamed and Kyle and Bobby were losing their shit. "So if you think you're the best there is, why don't you prove it next Saturday, join the match and you can get your ass kicked too" His smug smirk made me weak at the knees, but I regained composure, knowing I would be heading out any second "I am not getting in the ring with any of you" Britt scoffed while the men around her agreed "Oh don't worry, you can join the match but you won't have to fight any of us, that wouldn't be fair would it?" TJ continued, still smirking, this had Britt looking puzzled, all the guys around her looking at each other in confusion.

"Because if you guys get an extra person in the match, then so do we, and I think the newest member of the United Empire will enjoy beating your ass" TJ stated, taking a step back as my music hit. I made my way up the stairs and out of the tunnel to screams from the fans as I simply smirked and waved at Britt. Tj snaked an arm around me, resting his hand on my waist as Ospreay and Akira stood either side of us, then all 4 of us, made our hands into the crown symbol and lifted it high above our heads. As the music cut out and the crowd began to die down, I noticed the 4 in the ring were panicking and yelling, I took my opportunity, nodding the the men around me and without a word, we all ran down the ramp to the ring. Amongst the chaos of their flustered states, Undisputed, hadn't noticed our advance and had no time to prepare for the attack as we entered the ring, Akira and TJ taking out O'Reilly and Fish, Ospreay gunning for Cole, while I grabbed Britt's title to prevent her escaping the carnage. Adam, Bobby and Kyle managed to get out of the ring after taking a beating, but Britt and I began exchanging blows, hitting each other with harsh forearms before I grabbed Britt, hoisted her up and delivered a delayed vertical suplex, sending her crashing to the mat. As soon as she landed, Adam grabbed her legs and pulled her out of the ring to safety, leaving her title belt in the ring.

I smirked again, stepped forward, picked up her belt and held it above my head, keeping my eyes on her, she just screamed while the rest of her team shouted abuse at us as they began walking towards the ramp to get to safety. I felt TJ's arm around my waist again, and he looked deep into my eyes, smiling like a love struck teenager, "I love you" he whispered and my heart almost burst "I love you too" I smiled back at the man I had fallen for, as he pulled in me in for a kiss. His lips met mine and the crowd screamed. Ospreay and Akira flanked us again as we stood in the ring sharing a loving kiss, raising their crowns up as I held the tittle in the air with one hand and clung to TJ's shoulder with the other, both his hands on my waist. When we pulled away from the kiss, his forehead rested against mine and he simply whispered "Welcome to The Empire baby."
