Shaymin: wake up!

Jaguar startled awake, he sat up and saw the the morning rays through the window. He turned around and saw Ulala still laying there but Eevee was gone.

Shaymin: Cassandra took out your IV while you were sleeping, anyway, you need to get up, everyone's having breakfast
Jaguar: ok, I'm coming

He got out of bed and grabbed his pants and belt, his shirt was still ripped, so he left it on the chair next to the bed. He saw his battered body in the mirror and the bandages around his chest, he just walked out and followed Shaymin to the living room. Everyone was sitting around in different spots eating pancakes, Jaguar sat up at the bar and Cassandra came out with a plate of pancakes.

Cassandra: you still like maple syrup?
Jaguar: yeah, but never really had pancakes a lot
Cassandra: ok,

She passed him the maple syrup, they started having a conversation.

Cassandra: did you sleep well?
Jaguar: well, kind of
Cassandra: what do you mean kind of?
Jaguar: would you believe me if I told you that I saw Ulala
Cassandra: ummm... I don't follow
Jaguar: okay, not like that, I saw her groove Moxie self
Kell: what do you mean you saw her groove Moxie self?
Jaguar: you remember that pink Ulala wearing the purple dress, I saw her really I did but then her eyes gained blue pupils and it was like she was there, but she looked a lot different
Cassandra: well, I did hear you last night, and it sounded like you were talking to someone but then all of a sudden you just stopped and it sounded like you slept for the rest of the night
Lady Glitter: it sounds like her consciousness split from her physical body into her groove Moxie, so that she would be able to see you, that does happen from time to time, and remember what Cassandra said about her groove Moxie?
Jaguar: yes, I remember
Lou: don't get too upset
Jaguar: I still believe what I saw
Cassandra: and I believe you too, if it was a dream that I wouldn't have said that I heard you talking, anyway, eat up your food it's getting cold

Cassandra left to go check up on Xerneas who was in the barn. Lady Glitter followed her, the whole room was silent for a while. Jaguar finished his breakfast and decided to go to the barn, he peered the the door and saw Cassandra checking on Xerneas.

Cassandra: I'd say another 24 hours rest off his feet, will do him good, it depends how long Ulala will be out of it anyway I guess
Lady Glitter: you'll be okay Xerneas, I still can't believe that he can't heal himself. He's a fairy type
Cassandra: I thought so too, but here's the thing, some certain fairy type Pokémon can use their healing abilities on themselves, but some can't, and Xerneas is one of them, he releases that healing energy for others, but that is all his body can regulate is releasing, not compressing for him to use it on himself
Lady Glitter: okay, but you're tough aren't you?

Xerneas nuzzled her face in agreement, Cassandra then spoke up.

Cassandra: Jags I know you're there behind the door, so you can stop trying to hide

Jaguar opened the door and walked in shutting the door behind him.

Jaguar: I was just walking around to get some air
Cassandra: okay, but you can also make yourself useful
Jaguar: okay, what do you want me to do?
Cassandra: you can take Mudsdale out for a ride if you like or you can clean out her yard
Jaguar: I never got a good look at Mudsdale last night

Mudsdale was standing there by the stall door and Jaguar took a good look at him.

Jaguar: wait... this is the Mudsdale that Dad bought off of that auction, but it just sat in the pasture the whole time?
Cassandra: I took her off at his hands, turns out, the poor girl was sick, but luckily it wasn't anything too serious. She just needed a little tummy surgery and she's been here ever since
Jaguar: this will be fun, ok where's her gear?
Cassandra: over there

Cassandra pointed to a stand where a saddle and bridle was sitting, Jaguar grabbed it and started saddling up Mudsdale, once she was saddled up he struggled to pull himself up till Mudsdale raised a hoof to help, once he was up he held the reins and Cassandra opened the door and Mudsdale trotted out.

Cassandra: now where was I? Ahh right, the dressing needs changing....

Jaguar rode on Mudsdale through the farmlands and terrain, he looked at all the wild Pokémon living there. But as they continued on their way he thought about last night.

Jaguar: I saw her, I know I did, Cas knows that I did, she heard me talking to her. But I still don't understand, why did Purge do all this? What was he hoping to gain? He seemed to be holding back a bit as we fought... I'm not going to question it any further, I should go back

Jaguar and Mudsdale started trekking back towards the barn, when they got there Cassandra was there waiting.

Cassandra: there you are, where have you been?
Jaguar: I went out like you told me to do
Cassandra: okay, but it's been about an hour and 20 minutes
Jaguar: an hour? It felt like 30 minutes
Cassandra: I'll unsaddle Mudsdale, besides there's people inside the house that are waiting to see you

Jaguar got down and headed inside, Pudding, Pine, and Noize were there with their Pokémon, Arcanine, Braixen and Pikachu. And there was one face that he hoped to avoid for a while.

Jaguar: Fuse...
Fuse: What Happened?....
