Mason's POV

Going to school the day after almost having sex with your supposed mate. Proved to be very difficult
I barely slept the day before because Matthews decided it would be a great idea to open a very serious discussion about convincing me that Carlos will be a great and I mean great mate.

" Wake up buddy, its time for school!" My dad's voice rang from downstairs. I personally wanted to die because I was not ready to see Carlos or Arctic. I mean how the fuck does a beta go in to heat and why would would the Moon Goddess play with me like this. I can't do it, I can't do this, the walls were closing in on me and it was getting hotter and hotter
" SHUT UP!! Please just shut the fuck up Matthews. I can't think with all of you nagging, so do us both a favour and keep quiet" I say and close our link
Going to school after every thing that has happened with Car- Noooo! Nooo the point is to not think of him anymore. Thinking back to the weekend makes me of everything I want to forget, like Why did Carlos not tell me that I'm his mate, or how long did he know, and if he thinks he's not worthy to be my mate. I mean he probably is thinking all of that, for starters he is a he and he was-is oh I don't know! I think I still hate him
" What for though?" Mathews asks smugly in my head "I did give you a hint that he might be a he "
" So you knew, goddammit of course you knew! You know what Matthew's I not in the mood of your I told you so game, so bugger of and sleep or whatever you do when I'm at school" I say rather calm, calmer than I truly feel in my heart. Honestly I am freaking out, what am I going to tell my father. He's the biggest homophobe I know, he'll most definitely disown me and kick me out of the pack. And I don't want the I want to be the Alpha I want to protect the pack, I can't walk away from that. So Carlos can go wherever the fuck he wants to but I'm not quitting anything for-
My thought process is disturbed by a soft, delicate body bouncing off mine. Looking up from my shoes, lo and behold he man of the goddamn century standing in all his glory. At school when did I reach here? Focusing on just his face I see his beautiful caramel skin, plump pink lips, cute button nose and his eyes green like the forest stood out capturing me and refusing to let me go. Oh my god he is so handsomely beautiful. Hearing someone clear their throat is what snapped me out the trance those godly eye got me in. And I took to account how we look, my hand on his small waist, both of his on my chest. Our proximity was alluring and the only thing stopping me from taking him is because his scent is different, he does not smell like anything. Hearing someone clear their throat again has him trying to push me away
" Do you need a lozenge? I think the nurse has plenty, you should stop by there before you go to class. I'd hate for your cold to spread" I say still looking at Carlos, and my body refusing to let go
" I umm don't need that I just want Carlos and we'll be on our way" Emma says in a small voice
" I think Carlos and I have something to talk about. Isn't that right Mr Albertro" I say making him slightly whimper and shift in my arms
" It's okay Emma he's right, we have to talk" he says rather confidently still looking at me or looking for something. Then he suddenly looked at his friend and said " I'll be fine, I promise" A beautiful reassuring smile on his face
With that I take his hand and lead him to the roof of the school ignoring how perfect his hand fits mine or how shivers move from our connect hands to the rest of my body. Reaching the roof, I lock the door behind and and make sure that no one else is here
" So umm you umm" he clears his throat and straightens is back and looks me in the eye " You wanted to speak to me?" he say his voice like velvet. Holy shit I'm royally fucked
