~20 minutes later~

As I'm beginning to drift off into a deep sleep once again, I feel Ethan shift. I slowly opened my eyes to see that he was also opening his. He lifts his face to mine, making eye contact, and we both smile at each other. His arms squeeze around me and I squeeze him back. "Good morning Mavie," Ethan says to me in a sweet voice, still filled with sleep. "Good morning Eef," I sweetly said, looking down and kissing his brows. We hold each other for a little longer, taking in our embrace, before shifting into another position. Now I lay with my cheek upon Ethan's shoulder and chest, my hand in his, his arm wrapped around me, and his cheek resting on my forehead. We play with each other's hands and talk.

"How did you sleep?" I ask Ethan. Ethan smiles and replies, "It was probably the best I've slept in a long time." "Really?" I look up at him, "yeah, I usually have a hard time going to sleep. Why do you think most of my YouTube videos are filmed at night?" He chuckled as he responded. "I think you help me relax, being with you helped a lot," He added. I looked up at him and smiled, "How sweet," I giggled in return.

I reached over to my nightstand once again to grab my phone, 8:02. "So..Ethan, do you have plans today?" I shyly ask. He proceeds to dramatically place his fingers on his chin, pretending to stroke a goatee and raise a brow. I giggle as he does this. He breaks character and joins in the laughter. "No, I don't have anything going on. Why? You want me to stay over?" He teases, giving me a slight shove. I smirk and shove him back, he knows that that's what I was going to ask. He chuckles and adds, "I'm just teasing. If you don't mind, I'd love to stay over. After all, we did say we would hang out this weekend!" He cheerfully says back. "I just have to text my roommate, Ronnie, to let him know I'll be out today. Oh, and also let him know I'm safe since I never made it home last night." I nod at his response and bury my face into Ethan's chest again, not wanting to leave the bed yet. He chuckles, squeezing me before taking out his phone to text Ronnie. I've heard Ethan mention him a few times, but I've never met him. He seemed like a cool dude.

We lay in bed a little longer before Ethan tried to break free of my embrace. "Heyyyyy," I whine at him. I look up at him, my deep green eyes pleading for him not to break our connection. "I'm just using your bathroom babe, plus I'm starting to get hungry again." He says back to me, placing a kiss on my cheek. I pout and let him go. He gets out of bed and I decide to as well, stretching as I stood up. Warm arms grab me from behind and pull me close. Ethan hugs me from behind, placing his cheek on top of my head. We rock slightly and he stoops to place a kiss on the side of my neck, instantly sending sparks throughout my entire body. I feel goosebumps rise everywhere. I turned my head to the side and blushed. Ethan giggles and he meets his face with mine, kissing me before letting me go.

Ethan steps into the bathroom and shuts the door. I stood for a second, still wrapped up at the moment, before taking myself to the kitchen. I was in desperate need of some water. After a few sips, I realized I was kind of hungry. So I grab some eggs and bread from my fridge to make some breakfast. I take a pan and spatula from my now clean dishwasher and heat it on the stove. I glance over at my fruit bowl and see I have a couple of avocados. Perfect. I think to myself. I'll make some avocado toast with eggs. It would be so delicious. I grab some butter and place a dab into my hot pan, moving it around with a spatula, and let it cover the pan. I crack two eggs into the pan before going to my pantry to grab some seasonings. Black pepper, sea salt, some sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. I walked back to the stove to see that Ethan finished in the bathroom and was looking into the pan, to see what was going on.

"Whatcha making?" he perkily asks me. I smile, "I was making us a couple of pieces of avocado toast with an over-easy egg on top, sound good?" I ask. Ethan smiles instantly and nods aggressively before answering, "Yes! Lemme help you out babe." He walks over to me, placing a kiss on my forehead. I blush and smile at him, "You're so sweet Eefy" I grab a knife and ask him to slice and mash the avocado, adding some of the seasonings as well. I check on my eggs before placing a lid over the pan to help steam them. My eyes glance back at my fruit bowl again and notice a lemon. Even better. I grab the lemon and toss it to Ethan, "mind slicing off a couple of pieces of this? You can squeeze some into the avocado and give me the rest please?" "Yeah no problem," Ethan says back. He does so and hands me the rest. I grab a couple of glasses from my cupboard and turn to my freezer to grab ice. Filling the glasses with ice, I then fill them with water. Squeezing some of the lemon juice into the water and placing the rest on the rim of the glass.
