It had been daily for Kieran to go on Lauren's phone and put the stupidest photos of her (which was edited by Kieran to make it look worse) on her phone's wallpaper.

everyday Lauren would see this, shout and give threats to him like she always did, threats such as "today will be your last day on earth, Kieran", "this bullet will be in your head, Kieran" or her personal favourite which was running with a knife if her gun was far from her reach after Kieran through the whole house.

Today was going to be no less different for Kieran, he was going to her phone and was going to change the wallpaper, today he thought he would put the one in which Lauren was asleep and he drew a moustache on her but instead saw one of their photos, both of them holding each other's hands and taking a selfie on one of the first dates they had been on together on her wallpaper

Kieran was the phantom scythe corps' best hacker and spy and was known as the purple hyacinth. He was also a victim of the PS program where the phantom scythe corp took orphans and "educated" them but behind the curtains, they trained them to be spies, hackers, or anything that profited and was of use to them.

Lauren was an officer who was demoted from her detective rank because of her outburst. Being obsessed with a tragedy that killed her best friend she would do anything to take down the PS corps and serve justice, But she had a little secret: she could hear lies, whenever someone lied in her ears their voices would pitch high. for her, this was a curse and blessing.

The phantom scythe corps, ps corps for short, was a company that specialized in making weapons and imported other things as well. It was the biggest company in Ardhalis and controlled other companies without giving a threat. Secretly hidden as a terrorist group and using the corps name to cover their plans. their leader was unknown to everyone, no one knew who he or she was or how they looked.

When lune took the PS corps down, the leader killed themself in their office before the APD could come and arrest them.

Lauren was left devastated, Her parents were on the board of directors and played a major part in making the PS corps and her childhood best friend who was the reason she swore to take down the PS corps, was the successor of the leader.

Kieran, who wanted to leave, stayed there for her, keeping his job at the APD in the tech department.

After no such thing as the phantom scythe, Lauren only found herself in a pile of papers, all she did was work, sitting in her chair only standing or walking when she had to go on patrol, in other words, living there and after a while she overworked herself, causing her to fall sick quite badly.

Kieran knew why she did that, he knew it very well because there were times when he did that when he leaked a photo, video, or info and the people who were involved killed themselves either by cutting their veins, hanging themselves or jumping from the bridge and drowning, causing him to blame himself for their deaths.

Lauren did not want to be alone with her thoughts, her thoughts would be the end of her, and she knew quite well. She didn't want to think about how she was betrayed by her closest people. She didn't want to think about how the leader killed themselves and never really suffered for what they did. She didn't want to think about what she was going to do now, she never asked herself that, she thought after taking PS corps down, she would just die. That would be her ending. She deserved it, she thought, because all the people who had died in that tragedy were because of her, she could have taken action yet she didn't.
