Chapter 1

His lips twitched as he stared at Alpha Kane who glared down or up at him considering he was five inches taller with so much hate that it could kill but that wasn't the case for Alpha Isaac, he found it amusing and he thought of it as a thrill.

Midnight pack hadn't been the closest of friends to the obsidian pack but they were the closest to each other only in geographical terms. Hatred amongst themselves had been passed down from one generation to another.

It had started at the time when lands were being claimed but a piece of land which could have been an advantage over the other pack stood in their way, the easiest way was to fight over it but instead it had been a game of actions which eventually resulted in destroying the honor of one's sister and since then the hatred had been passed from generation to generation but never to Alpha Isaac who found it rather tasking and stupid.

"Get out of my way" Alpha Kane, the alpha of Midnight pack demanded trying to make his way into Alpha Isaac's pack house which was a bold move which he could get legally killed for because going into another alpha's territory without permission was a taboo but Alpha Kane did not pay it mind and was too focused on getting what he came for.

"What if I say no" Alpha Isaac challenged, his eyes twinkling in amusement which annoyed Alpha Kane to no end and he balled his fist in an attempt to fight off Alpha Isaac but his pack warriors were standing and waiting for any form of offence against their alpha so Alpha Kane didn't react and instead took a deep breath in trying to calm himself, seeing no point in fighting a battle he couldn't win, he had also realized the severity of the situation and said calmly

"Alpha Isaac I have only come to ask you why you have taken my pack member into your custody or I would think of it as a wager for war"

This had surprised Isaac that Alpha Kane hadn't lashed at him seeing how hot headed he was and said " I do not wish to wager war but it is a fact that I have not taken your pack member into custody but instead she was chosen as a mate for my beta"

"This cannot be true" Alpha Kane snapped "I request for you to bring her here now"

"But promise not to hurt her"

"Do not tell me what to do with my people as I don't tell you what you have to do to yours' "

"She is also a part of mine now" Kane glared at him but Isaac saw no point in trying to reason with him and instead called out his beta along with his newly chosen mate who looked scared out of her wits "Alpha Kane I really do love him"

"Save it Aurora we would discuss this when we get back to our pack"

"Does that mean I never get to see him again"

"I said we would discuss this later" Kane snapped at her which made her whimper and made her mate growl, Kane's head snapped towards him "If I hear a growl one more time from you I would bite your head off your head" Isaac's beta, Lucas stopped showing off his teeth "Let us leave now" Kane said and turned away, Aurora followed him silently not before turning to give her lover a tearful look. Isaac sighed as he watched Kane transform along with Aurora as they ran back into their territory

"Alpha Isaac we shouldn't have let him go, he had obviously challenged you on your own territory" Lucas complained

"Do you wish to go with war with your mate in the center" the statement made Lucas quiet

"But What do I do Alpha, he is taking my mate away"

"Patience Lucas, patience" Isaac said.

Once Kane reached his pack house, he transformed back and put on his clothes, Aurora had tried approaching him again
"I'm sorry Alpha Kane but I love him so..."

"Save it we would discuss tomorrow" Aurora left to meet her worried parents. Kane wanted to bang his head on a nail and blackout for the rest of his life but that wasn't possible because he had responsibilities as an alpha after all, he respected mating bonds and he knew he couldn't keep the mates apart for a long time.

Earlier today he had discovered that one of his pack members was taken by Isaac's beta because she was chosen as his mate which led him to visit Isaac, Kane had also drawn the conclusion that Aurora had been seeing obsidians' beta for a while before she was chosen as his mate without her Alpha's consent but now the deal was done and what to do about it lingered in his mind, he couldn't just send her over so easily when her parents still doted on her and being enemies with Isaac wasn't good for any sort of uncompromising arrangement.

Speaking of Isaac, Kane had realized this was his first time of seeing alpha Isaac in two years since the regions was held bi-anually. Kane couldn't help but remember when he first met Alpha Isaac. He was 9 years old when he first met Isaac who was also young at that time, they had met in the regions which was a place where an all Alphas meeting was conducted, the meeting was where all alpha's gathered to discuss politics and problems that plagued them all. They had escorted their fathers in other to learn the ropes of being an apha.

Kane didn't see anything wrong with Isaac and even wanted to be friends with Isaac despite all the wrong things he heard about their pack but what had angered him was the way Isaac's father had spoke down about his family seeing that his mother had died due to a rogue attack and of course Kane's father would have fought tooth and nail with Isaac's father but in the regions fighting wasn't allowed and Kane's father was too burdened by sadness to even attempt to break the rules so it was left to Kane.

He knew this wasn't a problem he could decide on his own and bringing up the past wasn't a great idea so he did the thing that he felt had to be done and wrote a letter. An official one.

Hello everyone thank you for reading my book I just wanted to clarify that they can choose their mates here so there isn't anything such as 'you are mine'.

Originally this was just going to be plain smut but I said fuck it let's add some back story and make it a smutty story and so here we are.

Also I decided to write the full version even though it would be impossible with my hectic schedule because I felt it had potential so prepare to see how the relationship between a perverted Alpha Isaac and an innocent Alpha Kane. Wish me and yourself luck. (2022 me wrote this btw)
