it was currently late, as aeri sat in the bar with her friends, the group laughing as they talked and all drank together. tanaka wrapped his arm around kiyoko as he said something to daichi, kiyoko looking towards asahi as they talked together. aeri beside sugawara as they were in conversation aswell.

it was hard for them all the see each other like this recently, with the other three boys now starting to look for job and ready to move out of university. they didn't spend much time together.

so it was nice on the occasion where they all met up with each other, everything still the same like it had never changed.

aeri sipped the remaining parts of her drink, looking down at the glass when she realised nothing else was coming up her straw. she stirred the ice at the bottom with her straw, before pushing the glass aside.

"anyone want a drink?" she asked getting up from the table.

a chorus of different answers ran along the table, only saeko and sugawara wanting another, the rest of the group declining. she got up and left going to the bar to order her drink, waiting in the line of other students and customers in the pub tonight. she sighed, running her hands through her hair.

looking around as it filled it more, it wasn't this busy when they came an hour ago, now the place was almost full. she turned back to the bar, realising she could be waiting a while as a group of people stood in front of her.

she locked eyes with a boy beside her, she looked away awkwardly, hating catching someone's eyes whilst she waited. looking back towards the bar and ignoring the boy beside her.

"hey,"

aeri turned her face back as the boy beside her smiled, she gave a weak smile back.

"hello," she replied.

"you here alone?" he asked her.

"oh no, my friends are down there, i'm on drink duty," she pointed to the table, seeing sugawara and daichi arguing with each other across the table.

"how could they send such a pretty girl to get the drinks?" he asked her.

aeri looked to him with a smile. so that's why he was talking to her. she looked him up and down, trying to read his body language and facial expressions. the girl gave a small laugh, facing her full body towards him.

"it's my round unfortunately," she lied.

"why don't you come to my table for a bit?" he asked her.

"where is your table?" she asked.

he pointed to the far end of the room. she saw a table of boys sat together, laughing and drinking together. aeri scanned their faces, not seeing anybody familiar. she turned back to him with a sweet smile.

"maybe," she shrugged.

"come on, i'll even buy you a drink,"

aeri smiled at him, sure. she guess she could have gone over after getting her drinks back to the table, if she has getting free drinks out of it. she looked him up and down, noticing the clothing he wore. black loose pants with fitted shirt, her eyes ran up his torso and biceps.

"maybe, i still have my friends to buy for," she said to him.

"i'll come find you after then," he said to her with a grin, winking before he walked off. he didn't even get his drinks in the end. but aeri could feel her phone vibrating in her pocket continuously as she spoke with the boy.
