it had been five days of silence from kiyoko. aeri felt a little nauseous that kiyoko hadn't even spoken to her in that long.

aeri and saeko had a talk the day after. the two discussed the whole thing, explaining everything that happened. saeko apologised for overreacting and so did aeri, the two going back to their normal routine. saeko however hasn't spoken to aoi and sadako, saying she wanted her petty moment with them for lying to her.

but she wasn't as upset as kiyoko was. saeko had warmed up to suna over the last two days, suna had given her a couple days alone with saeko, hoping kiyoko would come as well. saeko had spoken with kiyoko, but saeko wouldn't tell aeri what she had said.

suna had come around two days ago with food for both her and saeko, and he had tried to rebuild a better relationship with her friend, which aeri was grateful for. and grateful saeko was trying to get along with suna for her. the two had been laughing and joking when watching a movie they had put on last night

aeri sat with suna in the lounge, whilst saeko was washing up some dishes in the kitchen. suna could tell she was still down about kiyoko's silence. even though she had heard bits from tanaka, it wasn't the same not hearing from her for this long. it was starting to worry her.

suna wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her towards his chest. aeri looked up to him smiling slightly, relaxing into him and grabbed his free hand, interlacing her fingers into his.

"try not to worry too much, she'll come around," he told her, rubbing her shoulder softly.

aeri nodded. "i know, it's just not the same not speaking to her,"

"you want to do anything today?" he asked her.

"wallow in self pity," she replied.

suna laughed a little and rolled his eyes at her being dramatic. saeko turned around after finishing the washing up, looking at the two of them entangled in each others arms on the couch. she smiled at the sight, walking over towards them.

"disgusting, i hate seeing suna so happy and acting like a decent human being," saeko rolled her eyes.

"okay but when are we having an uno rematch?" he asked her.

saeko's eyes lit up. "hang on, we need more people for that,"

she ran out of the room. aeri laughed. "everyone will be over here now, you've done it,"

"and everyone can force themselves to like me," suna smiled at her laughing.

an hour later, daichi and sugawara had turned up at the flat, along with osamu and komori who saeko had asked to invite.

daichi had arrived with the missing bag that was stolen just a couple days earlier when she was mugged. friendly neighbourhood cop daichi had done a decent job in finding the culprit with his other squad mate, questioning them down at the station. aeri had said she wouldn't press charges if she got her bag back.

she was just grateful she didn't have to use saeko's spare phone anymore. the old photos and apps she could deal with, but shared search history from the paired devices she couldn't.

they all settled in, sugawara interrogating suna and asking him questions with pointless answers. daichi complaining that sugawara was being too annoying, komori complaining he hated cats and wished they were banned from the lounge. saeko and komori then fighting about the cats.

the group eventually started the first game of uno. which already wasn't going to end well with both sugawara and daichi present. now komori was also in on the action, komori and sugawara were like evil twins teaming up to sabotage people. sugawara whispering tactics to him as saeko shuffled and dealt the cards.
