Unexpected.  That was the only word Wills mind could think of. The unexpected rain even though the moon was bright and out. Even if it was not the season for rain yet.......yet the atmosphere matched the situation he was in.

The rain was not a mean one. It only drizzled like the shower he had taken . How many hours was that .....nearly five hours ago. Yes ........today was the day that hopefully all the FBI would remember. Today was the day when the most notorious serial killer would be caught.

It was laughable how one man........one creature was able to fool the FBI for that long but today was the day he would be caught.

The cars and vehicle filled with officers swarmed the ocean side estate belonging to Hannibal Lecter .

The officers lead by Jack Craaford enterd the massive estate but Will didn't follow. Somehow he felt it  .........he knew it. He walked behind the estate behind the trees. The mud squeaked beneath his boots as he aimed his gun out.

'The mirrors in your mind can reflect the best of you ........not the worst if someone else.'

Will smirked. 'Best of me.........? So why does the best of me only reflect you?'  He wondered. He had a thousands of questions but he couldn't breath it out . Many words he had many feeling he felt at that second he couldn't speak it. He stopped at the opening and could only breathe out one word

"........why ?"

"I am afraid Willium you should be more specific." Hannibal camly said. His back turned towards will overlooking the sea.

"Why? Are you still here ?"Will chocked out gun still pointed on hannibals back.

"I just didn't have the time I guess." Hannibal slowly turning back to will

"Bullshit . You had nearly five hours head start . You could have left the country one way or another but still you chose to......"Will stopped.

The man before him didn't looked like someone who regreated  his decision . The eyes which started back at him didn't look like the eyes of someone who was angry for being caught . But rather looked sad.

"I know ." Hannibal whispered . The rain starting to slow down.

"You know what doctor lecter ?" Will moved forward the gun still on his hands.

Hannibal smiled softly.
"It's best that you don't know willium.
If I could reverse time...........if the tea cup I shattered would come back up I would do it." Hannibals eyes gleamed softly.

"What the hell are you talking about "

"I only wish it was not like this . Do you beleive in faith ........willium.......destiny ?"

"The only thing I beleive is that you are a killer doctor lecter."

Hannibals smile grew wider as Will heard the footsteps of people surrounding them.

"I couldn't run away from destiny.  ..........you were my destiny."

Wills frown grew bigger.

"A family........planned for us. "Hannibal whispered his eyes gleamed with tears.

"Freeze . Hannibal lecter your under arrest. " Jack Crawfords voice rang out.

But hannibal didn't even flinched . Not even when there were many guns pointed at him . Not even when he was cornered. His eyes only fixed on one thing ........on will.

Wills chest ached. Confused ...........devastated.  this didn't felt right. His head knew that The Chesapeake Ripper was right infron of them but his heart said other wise.

"I am afraid I can't surrender Jack." Hannibal said quietly still his eyes not leaving Will as he limped forward. Only then will noticed the physical condition hannibal was in . His knuckles were bloody his face bruised and his leg bleeding. He slowly reached out for Will.

The whole world slowed down for will as he watched hannibal raised his hand shakily as if in a feverish dream.

"Just.......one last time..please.."hannibal whispered so slowly that even Will couldn't hear properly.

BANG!

A bullet flew past will and hit hannibal on his shoulder.

"NO STOP SHOOTING "will screamed as  another bullet shot hannibal on his leg. Will sprung back ward and extended his arms open as if shielding hannibal.

"Willium .........its okay." Hannibal whispered as he staggered backward at the edge of the cliff. His soft smile never leaving his face.

"Ha.....nibal wht are you doing. Step back" will said shakily.......scared trying to reach out for him

Hannibals blue eye gleamed red for a moment as their eye met again

"Good bye willium."

Will watched with horror and disbelieve as hannibals body fell off the cliff into the roaring ocean.
