Halo Fourteen: Yamato:
While everything was going down on Halloween, he had his own plans. For months, Yamato has been tracking her moves. She moved to Ikebukuro after Chou Mori shut down. He couldn't help but laugh to himself. She had been here this whole time. He just didn't know it.

Yamato sat high up on a ledge on the window, looking outside. His eyes looked so empty.
"Yamato? Yamato?"
He turned his head and looked down. She stood looking up at him. Her glasses were always the first thing that he noticed about her. They stood out looking big on her face. Smaller glasses would've looked better for the shape of her face. She breathed out in relief.
"Oh there you are," she said. "I've been looking for you." She giggled.
"Why do you always come up here, Yamato-kun?" she asked. "What do you see out there?" He stared at her and said nothing. She held out her hand up to him.
"Come down," she said. "It's time for group therapy." He looked at her for a moment. She waited for him with a smile on her face and her hand out. Finally, Yamato climbed down from the ledge and took her by the hand. He hopped down in front of her.
"There we go," she said. She noticed that his clothes were drenched with sweat. She could see the little beads all over his skin.
"Oh my! You're soaked," she said. "Why didn't you tell anyone that your room was too hot?" She reached out to brush the hair out of his eyes but he backed away.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to try and touch you. Let's just get you dried off and change you into some fresh clothes." Yamato didn't say anything as he followed her out of the activity room.

The others didn't know about this. She wasn't on their radar. No, this one was kept to himself. Yamato kissed the locket that he had hidden around his neck. He had everything he needed to carry out his mission tonight. The tadpole rose from his laptop and shut the lid. He walked out of his room without a word.

3:00 a.m.
Something woke up Sachiko in the early hours of the morning. She couldn't understand why she was up so early. Maybe it was the feeling that something wasn't right. It would take a moment but she would realize that she was awake.
First, there was a dull throbbing pain between her legs. It hurt to move. Why was she so sore all over? Grim thoughts started to fill her mind. They increased as her eyes adjusted to the dark. This wasn't her bedroom. She found herself in some hotel room. Her brain couldn't piece together what happened last night. The last thing she remembered was getting a text from a weird number while at home. The next thing she knew, she was here. She tried to remember anything else.
"What the hell?" she mouthed to herself. Sachiko looked down at herself under the sheets. She was naked underneath. Another grim thought crossed her mind. Was she... She dare not to think that.
The more she looked around the room, the more Sachiko had sinking feeling in her stomach. She's been here before. Many times. The detective shivered at the thought. She needed to get out of here.
Sachiko looked down next to her. Good, she was still alone. The detective didn't have time to celebrate. She struggled to get out of bed through the pain. Sachiko took a breath and swung her leg over. The detective needed to find her clothes, get out of the room, leave the hotel, and get home. It was kind of hard to look around in the dark. She felt around for the lamp beside her. Relief filled her chest as she turned it on. A dull light filled the room.
