You wait for the sting of the bullet. For the end of your life. But you feel nothing as you squeeze your eyes tight. You finally pop them open to see a sweaty Jimin and Hoseok. More like a sweaty and bloody Jimin and Hoseok.

Haneul and Ayden are just as stunned as you, you're surprised neither of them is crying.

"Wh-what?" you splutter.

In Jimin's bloody hand is a glinting steel gun. Hoseok's sweaty hair is matted to his forehead with blood and his lip split. Jimin's sleeve is torn, exposing a new and fresh wound, same with Hoseok's leg, except it seems to be less major than his younger counterpart's. And both their faces and necks have blood splatters on them. You're not sure which blood is theirs and which blood belongs to the men who'd been trying to kill you.

"Told ya' you'd be fine," Jimin chuckles.

"How can you be optimistic like that, Park Jimin?! We nearly died!" you shriek.

That's when you force your eyes to the ground, to stare at the lifeless black-clad man who'd tried to kill you.

"Is he dead?" you ask quietly.

"No, he's only severely been stunned. We need someone to interrogate," Hoseok says.

"How'd you get here so fast? What happened?"

"We took out the men at the front door and the ones hiding in the bushes. But this one managed to get away from us and find his way into this underground maze," Jimin explains. "We followed him, but he lost us. We heard shouting voices and knew at once that he'd found you. It helped us to find him and now here we are."

"There is more than one entrance? I thought the one Jimin sent us through was the only one," you say, puzzled.

Both men shake their heads.

"It's a whole system specifically designed for us and those we work with. We often have important men, leaders, and such, come seeking us, and they need a safe way to get to our headquarters. We also use it to transport suspects, if needed, and other dangerous things," Hoseok tells you casually.

"It's not safe then, anymore, if that man could enter so easily. Who will be next? An axe-murderer? A terrorist? Or perhaps a bad mafia leader?" you say, frowning.

"Yes, it does appear that adjustments will need to be made," Hoseok says calmly.

"And what did you mean, Jimin, by 'don't stop for anything, no matter what?' And why did you tell me to say 'bullets' when I reach the end? What exactly does that mean?" you ask. You don't care if your tone of voice is angry and snappy, you've just been through a terrifying experience and are exhausted beyond measure.

"Hoseok and I had a hunch that someone would try to break from their group and search on their own for you," Jimin says, clutching the bloody injury on his left arm, the one holding the silver gun. "Hoseok actually started off after him before I did, after taking out the last remaining guy, I managed to catch up with him and we both followed the last survivor."

Where was he going with this? Get to the point already!

"Anyway," Jimin says, "I told you to shout 'bullets' when you reached the end, meaning when you thought you were in serious danger and about to die, hearing you scream or shout that word would help to alert us. And, I told you 'don't stop for anything, no matter what," meaning, don't give up fighting for yourself and your children, even if one of the men managed to find you. And, it was also a hope that you might find the other members at the headquarters before someone found you, if you kept moving and didn't stop, even if you reach a dead end or something."
