She had never had a loving relationship with neither of her parents nor her two older brothers but had a strong bond with her sister Helaena, whom she loved dearly.
Alyssa always distanced herself from the Velaryon boys, perhaps because she envied the love they got from their mother, perhaps because Alicent always taught her to hate them and prevented her from actually meeting them.
