I grabbed the key from the table and looked at the fox and deer that we just dragged over here.
I'll leave it to them, I'll find my own food.
I opened the gate and got on the bike before starting it and making my way out of the school.
I just kept going until I arrived at a hut with dozens of walker bodies on the ground around it.
Who could kill that many walkers? Maybe it was one of the groups that are running around in this area.
There was nothing there that could be helpful so I just kept going for a few minutes until I heard yelling coming from the forest.
I got off and followed the yelling until I saw two survivors fighting against a bunch of walkers.
The man turned around and aimed his gun at me.
???: Who the hell are you?
The girl turned around and looked at me too.
Y/N: You might wanna aim your gun at the things that are trying to kill you.
???: Minerva, take care of them. I'll handle this.
The girl nodded and turned her attention back to the walkers that were approaching us.
She used her crossbow to shoot them, while the man went over to me, still aiming his gun at my head.
???: I asked you a question!
Y/N: I'm not a threat, I can help you.
???: Who are you-
I smacked the gun out of his hand before hitting him in the face.
He fell down on the ground and covered his face with his hands.
???: Shit!
I picked up his pistol before the girl turned around and realised what I did to her friend.
Minerva: What did you do?!
Y/N: Concentrate on the walkers, I'll help you.
I went up to her and started shooting the walkers.
Looks like she trusted me because she went back to shooting the walkers instead of me.
A few minutes later the walkers were taken care of and the girl returned her attention to me, but this time she didn't aim her crossbow at me.
Minerva: Who are you?
Y/N: I'm Y/N. I heard your friend yelling around so I got here to see if I could help. Your name's Minerva, right?
Minerva: Yeah...just call me Minnie. Thanks for the help.
???: Help?! This fucker almost broke my jaw.
He stood up while wiping the blood from his face.
Y/N: I told you I wanted to help, you kept aiming your gun at me. It was self defence.
???: I'll show you self defe-
Minnie: Abel, calm down. He helped us.
Abel: So what? That means he can walk around hitting people in the face?
Y/N: You guys have a camp?
Minnie: We-
Abel: No. No we don't. We're always moving.
Y/N: Only you two?
Abel: Yeah, why do you wanna know?!
