Chapter 15

Y/N: What kind of change of plans are we talking about?

Governor: I found out that Kenny's group have new allies now.

Y/N: Yeah, Lee told us about them too. A new group came by.

He nodded.

Governor: I told them to contact them. Kenny asked them to come over here and help us attack the Delta. They agreed and are on their way now.

Y/N: This is gonna be easy then.

Governor: It's supposed to. We'll leave the tanks here. I doubt we'll need them. I dont think all members of Rick's group will come, but I guess a few will be enough.

Y/N: Did Kenny say anything about the New Frontier?

Governor: No, why?

Y/N: Lee told us they want to attack and destroy the New Frontier. They asked us for our help. They said they're in a weak state.

Governor: They were hiding when they got attacked and now they themselves want to attack a group? That's some real change of heart.

Y/N: We talked about this too...Maybe the new group makes them feel strong or something.

Governor: Or maybe the leader of new group is their leader now.

Y/N: Could well be.

Governor: Why did he ask you for help and not me?

Y/N: Probably didn't want to disturb you.

Governor: Hm...let's see how the assault on the Delta will go first, then we'll think about the other groups.

A few hours passed and the group arrived at New Jackson with a truck.

The Governor talked to them before we set off.

We were finally at their base. No lookouts, no guards, no nothing basically.

The Governor gave us his command to storm the base and we did.

We blew open the gate and ran in guns blazing.

Surprisingly we were met with heavy resistance.

The remaining Delta soldiers were not joking around, but after about an half an hour of fighting we managed to take them all down and return to New Jackson.

It didn't go as smooth as we thought, but our losses were still relatively low.

Rick wasn't content at all though, he lost a bunch of his group members and was accusing the Governor of using his people as a meat shield.

Governor: It was a full out battle, people die, get used to it.

Rick: Get used to it?! I don't see my people as numbers like you do. Four of my people died.

Governor: Me neither. I also don't complain and blame someone else for my failures.

Rick: We came here to help you.

Governor: And we appreciate that, but we won't let you blame us for your losses.

???: Coming here was a mistake.

A woman from Rick's group said.

Rick: It's okay, Maggie. I'll handle it.

???: Aaron, Alden, Jerry, Gabriel, they're all gone, because we were fighting someone else's fight.

Rick: Morgan, please. We'll talk about it later.

He looked back at the Governor.

Rick: We want payment.
