Chapter two I blew up a floating Castle whoops...

Cathan Eralith's POV

It has been about a year since I formed my Aether core, I have created a few Godrunes, Godstep was my first which was on my spine, second the destruction rune, third was the Life rune green fire that can heal all wounds, then the Purge rune similar to the destruction rune but doesn't make the user go crazy, the last was Black Void a Spatium Rune of my making which absorbs both mana and Aether.

To be honest I don't need Godrunes to use Aether since I have domains of Time, Space and Reality.

Even so I think I will only create 7 Godrunes and manipulate Aether the old fashion way. Aether has a mind of its own and most beings cant manipulate it, me I am different Aether practically wants to obey me is it because I have Domains?

I have been theorizing a way to combine both Gravity magic and Aether it has been difficult, but I could theoretically create a center of gravity that pulls everything in like an ultimate move dangerous yes, the center could prove to be uncontrollable, but I was working on a way that the center only attracts what I want it too.

Using Godstep I made my way to a secluded part of the floating castle to form my new rune. I did not want to be anywhere near my family if something went wrong.

I willed Aether to shape gravity the way I wanted it creating a small sphere with a gravitational pull. Success, I felt a burning sensation on my spine as I created another Godrune. Only the sphere did not dissipate it grew and started pulling bits of the floor and roof hungrily absorbing the matter. Ah shit

I quickly activated Black Void having the black mass absorb the now giant center of gravity. A giant explosion of mana and Aether followed good thing no one uses this wing I winced at the bright sunlight in my eyes wait sunlight.

Opening my eyes, I realized that the roof was gone scratch that the whole wing is gone I marveled at the destruction I caused oh boy was I in trouble. I was floating on a slab of wood big enough to support my body, but I realized just air was beneath me I was floating thousands of feet up in the sky if the gravitation field dissipates I would plummet to my death.

"Holy what happened," I heard Aya say.

I turned my head, and five of the Six lances were standing about a hundred feet away from me.

I started waving my arms "a little help I do not want to die."

I felt a change in the air pressure and hands pick me up a moment later we were back on the ground.

"Phw I am never doing that again," I deadpanned.

The lances gave me curious looks.

"Cathan how did this happen?" Varay asked in her ever so serious voice.

Ah screw it they probably know by now.

"Well, I was experimenting with Gravity magic I thought that it's kind of ineffective, so I managed to create a center of gravity with an attractive force and well this happened boom uncontrolled explosion of mana and Aether!"

Bairon, Mica and Varay were shocked and Alea and Aya gave me curious looks.

"Aether?" asked Aya.

Crap I messed up okay how would a three-year-old explain this.

I scratched my head.

"Uh yeah, the purple partials floating in the air there isn't as much as the brown, green, blue, and red particles. Anyways mana can't influence Aether, but Aether can influence mana if that makes since so, I just used Aether, and had it influence gravity into the shape I wanted."
