Chapter four Family Reunion

Arthur Leywins POV

I felt weight on my chest I opened my eyes to see a little girl, lying on top of me with wheat colored hair. I realized this was Sylvie, when did she get a human form, Lady Myre mentioned it was sealed.

"How are you feeling?" spoke a familiar voice.

I turned my head to see Tess siting on the corner of the bed. She had changed and it wasnt just the color of her hair that looked almost Silver, I could tell from her eyes she had an almost cold look that reminded me of someone from my past, when I was Grey, but that was impossible.

I sat up arranging Sylvie, so she was still sleeping comfortably.

"I don't blame you," she said.

I tilted my head "what?"

She sighed ruffling a hand through her hair "after you left, I found out I was pregnant, it was a horrible situation you were gone, and the future was uncertain."

I was silent I didn't know what to say I would understand if she pushed me off the Flying Castle and told me to go to hell.

"What now?" I asked

She sighed but before she could speak Cathan materialized in front of me.

"Sup," he said grabbing Sylvie from my lab.

I didn't expect a 3-year-old to be able to lift her, but the moment he touched her she was ingulfed in light and she shrunk to her fox form.

"Bye enjoy adult naptime," he said with a smirk then vanished.

What the... my cheeks heated up from his accusation but then again what normal 3-year-old knows what that means?

I swear I heard Tess mumble, "Omniscient brat."

"Uh Tess what was that about? Also how does Cathan vanish, it's like he teleports," I asked still shocked.

Tess sighed, "He uses Aether."

My eyes went wide Tess knows about Aether, and how does he use it, only Dragons have an affinity for Aether. I desperately tried to wrap my head around this, is there another way to use Aether?

"Art, earth to Arthur, are you okay," Tess asked waving a hand in front of my face snaping me out of my daze.

"Yeah fine," I said skeptically

Tess rolled her eyes "you know 'FINE' is the acronym of Fucked Up, Insecure, Needy and Emotional."

I blinked there was one person who told me that before, someone from my past life no, it has to be a coincidence, but I don't believe in coincidences.

"Cecilia?" I asked shocked.

She smiled "Its been a while, Grey; I swear to god if you feint, I will kick your ass," she quipped her voice laced with sarcasm

I gulped Cecil's sarcasm isn't always sarcasm, "Uh, so um how are you my childhood best friend, how does that work?"

She sighed "after Cathan was born my memories from my previous life came back like an acid flashback, it was unnerving to say the least. I am Tessia but also Cecilia so that was a bit confusing it took me awhile to sort my feelings for you."

If she is Cecilia then it's not like she would want to be with me, maybe Nico was reincarnated as well. I was snaped out of my thoughts went Tess smacked me upside the head.

"Ow what was that for," I asked rubbing my head.

"For being an idiot Arthur Leywin," she said rolling her eyes.
