Isabella and Carl walk up to the library door hearing Carol read a book to the kids the two sneak in and get behind a shelf then a man leaves

Carol closes the book "Ma'am should I take watch now?"Luke asks "Yes Luke you do that"Carol tells him and gets a box of knives out

"Today we're talking about knives how to use them how to be safe with them and how they can save your lives"Carol says "Ma'am may I be dismissed?"Patrick asks

"What is it?"Carol asks "Im not feeling very well"Patrick tells her "Sometimes you have to fight through it what if you wind up out there alone?"Carol asks

"You just give up becasue you're feeling bad?"Carol asks "No its just I dont want to yack on somebody"Patrick says and Lizzie scoots away "Go"Carol says and Patrick leaves

"Today we're gonna learn how to hold a knife how to stab and slash and where to aim for"Carol says but stops when Isabella and Carl show themselves "Please dont tell your parents"Carol says

Carl grabs Isabellas hand and pulls her out of the room

Rick and Kai get back and notice Violet was dead "Damn it"Kai curses and Rick pats her back

Kai walked into her cell and pulled her curtain closed taking off her belt then her shirt but someone moved the curtain and walked in

"Sorry I didn-"Daryl says "Daryl its fine"Kai laughs and Daryl turns around putting the curtain back up "I just wanted to talk about Beth"He tells her

"What about her?"Kai asks putting a new shirt on and different pants "Her boyfriend died but she didnt seem sad said she doesnt cry anymore"He tells her

"You can turn around Dar"She tells him and he does "Im tired of losing people Kai"He tells her and she hugs him and he hugs back "Me too"She tells him

"Stay with me?"She asks and he looks at her confused "Dont give me that look Daryl"She says and he smiles "Come on"He says and the two lay in her bed

"Night Kai" "Goodnight Dar"She says and turns around and the man wraps his arms around her holding her close

Everyone always asked her who she was in love with was it Rick the man she went out with all the time for hours

Was it Daryl the man who kissed her head every morning when they saw each other

Was it Wesley the father of her child well that all stopped when Wesley started sleeping with this woman named Laruen she was happy for Wes

Wes was happy and he wanted Kai to be happy but she didnt want to act on her feelings yet not until she felt completely safe and she just didnt yet

She worried about the people she loved about Maggie and Beth her sisters about her father Hershel about her daughter Isabella about Carl about Daryl and Rick and Wes and Glenn her new brother just everyone close to her

She didnt want to lose anyone else so she wrote it all down Kai never stopped writing she never would she had books filled she kept in her room

Sometime she would go and read back through some of them about the times before the prison about her old friends Andrea T dog about her killing Shane the guilt

She would lose her shit if she lost anyone she would kill anyone who gets in her way

Daryl felt the same about Kai he didnt want to lose her he knew he was in love with this woman but he didnt know how to tell her so he didnt which would end up to be the biggest mistake of his life
