[Chapter Two] {Week 1}

It's been a week since I fought those wolves I've gotten stronger, I think. I've been feeding the baby who I've decide to call Solis and I've named myself Nigris for simplicity sake. I yawned sitting under a tree in the shade, watching Solis run around. He's been getting bigger lately, I have been too. I wonder how fast dragons grow? Will I be an adult when I'm less than a year old? Weird.

I blinked, I hadn't checked my or Solis' stats in awhile. I wonder how much we leveled up after hunting...? The screen popped up and I read it closely.

Odd... I'm getting stronger faster? Is it because I'm different?... Whatever. It's time to hunt. I stood up tail flicking as I called Solis to follow me as I walked into the forest. I sniffed around trying to find any life at all. I finally saw a wolf, unlike the other wolves I saw this one was bigger and looked angrier. Hmm... I crept up behind it. I jumped onto its back and bit it using [Venom Bite] to try and poison it. It flung me off I was thrown against a tree, shuddering as I felt my bones shatter.

I still got up shaking in pain as I breathed a pume of [Fire breath] at the big wolf as it ran at me. It whimpered jumping back at the flames, before growling continuing to run at me. I jumped out of the way having an idea. I should check it's stats. So I did.

...It's a mini-boss... It's level 100... I need to get out of here... NOW. I ran away looking behind me eyes widening as I saw it chasing. I skidded to a halt after seeing the edge of a cliff. A dead end. I turned to face the Alpha Wolf back fear and terror in my gaze. It's teeth was bared before... I jumped.

I flapped my wings frantically trying to fly. I kept falling. I closed my eyes readying to die... Before I fet myself floating. I did it... I'm flying! I turned back in the air, I need to get Solis. I landed hoping, praying the wolf wouldn't track me. "Solis, come out we need to go" I half whispered half shouted. I sighed relieved as the small dragon hopped out of the bushes chirping excitedly. I grabbed him and flew up, flying was surprisingly easy now that I knew how to do it.

I'll be back for that wolf that's for sure. When me and Solis are stronger. I swore giving one final glance towards the forest flying up higher into the skies. Solis squeaked in fear at the heights wind buffeting their small little body harshly. I exhaled. I need to find shelter and food before sundown, I can't fly for too long. I saw a cave perched on a high up cliff. Safe enough no predators will get up and I can still get up just fine. I flew closer landing on the rocky floor dropping Solis.

A dragon pounced out of the cave almost immediately at our arrival hissing and growling. It looked like the parent that had left, it was probably the same kind. I growled back preparing for a fight. "Get out of here younglings." The dragon hissed in a creaky voice. It sounded rather old...? Oh. I should check their stats before rushing into battle like this...

You know what. I'm willing to fight them. It'll give me a lot of exp so why not. "No." I responded before leaping at them biting their neck with [Venom Bite]. The dragon roared before throwing me off. They retaliated with [Ice breath] a plume of ice came straight at me. I jumped out of the way and flung myself at them stopping before using [Fire breath] they managed to dodge the main blow.

They recovered quickly panting out of exhaustion it seemed they hadn't fought in a awhile. I pounced on them while their guard was lowered pinning them preparing for the final blow. "WAIT!!!" Another voice rang out as a female Lux dragon landed. "Oh please great Umbra dragon don't hurt him. He can't see well, so he couldn't see your pure power and strength oh please spare him!" The female pleaded. I stared in confusion, why was she treating me like some sort of all powerful being or something.

I stepped off the dragon snorting as the female helped him up. "I'm so sorry. You can have the cave. You can have our territory just don't hurt us and enslave us..." She begged bowing her head. Enslave?! My kind enslaves?! I thought looking at her closely. The female was staring at Solis fear in her eyes, probably wondering what I could have put him through. "...Just go." I huffed too confused to say anymore. They gladly flapped into the skies getting far out of sight.

Solis and I walked inside laying down on the ground. Solis fell asleep at my side purring. What was that... Why are they all so afraid of me? Maybe my new stats has something to do with it? The screen appeared and my eyes narrowed.
