" Look at this place! " I chuckle in disbelief as I walk down this cobblestone path.

" This is amazing! " I said in excitement and butterflies flying around in different colors.

" Glad you like it " I turn around to Laurence who's following behind.

" How'd you find this place? " I asked as I walk backwards.

" It's a pretty popular place in this city, Avonnola Conservatory Garden, most locals come here to relax or do some work " he said.

" Do work?, Where? " I asked.

" There's an inn here where you have to reserve a room and it's honestly calming since they have someone to play a calming music for you " he said.

" Is that why you brought me here? " I asked, he shrugs.

" Maybe " he said.

" That's a yes " I squinted my eyes.

" I just wanted to hangout as a make up from the festival " he said, I chuckle.

" You don't really have too, plus, I don't really want a reminder of that night " I said and turn back around in front to watch where I'm going.

" Alright, it's a date then " he said and I see he caught up next to my right.

I smile at him and he interlock our fingers together.

" I don't think we should do this in public " I said.

" Today's a very quiet day there aren't much people coming here so, I think we're alright " he said, I chuckle then step closer to him.

We still hold hands but I hug his arm with my other hand.

" Where are we going? " I asked.

" There's a place where we can hang out for the rest of the day " he said.

" Is the place boring? " I asked, he snickers.

" You haven't seen it yet " he said.

" I can't really stay out too long " I said.

" Why? " He asked.

I put down my other hand and we still walk next to each other.

" What's wrong? " He asked and we stop in the middle of the path.

" Remember when I mention about my aunt? " I asked.

" Talia " he said, I nodded.

" I don't really want you to get involved in this " I said.

" It's okay, just tell me " he said.

" She was the one who started the fire, it was to kill me " I said.

He looks at me in shock.

" How come?, What did you do? " He asked.

" Well, a few things that pissed her off I guess " I said an we continue to walk.

" I guess that shows her true colors " he said.

" Oh, by the way, Paige seems to know you so well, what about you? " I asked.

" Now that you mentioned it, I went to Falcon Claw magic school before moving to Phoenix, we were classmates and childhood friends " he said.

" She mentioned about you making a promise, what was that all about? " I asked, he snickers.

" It was practically almost a decade ago when we first met, she was at my place and I made a stupid promise of. . .marrying her " he hesitated, I snort then cover my mouth as I turn away.
