As we travel across the country dealing with all sorts of villians from creepy clowns to full on sea monsters I was still trying to think what Dio was up to before we break down at a nearby motel.
Max: "Looks like the Rust Bucket needs a few repairs but we managed to stop near a motel so we'll stay here for the night".
As I take Ben and Gwen to the room after booking one it seemed like a pretty old building cracked walls and chipped paint not the most inviting place but good enough for one night as I take a look out the window and see Max looking at the Rust Bucket.
Me: "I'm going to check on the Rust Bucket you both stay here ok".
Gwen: "Sure".
Ben: Yeah what ever".
I walk out the room and down the stairs before heading over to the Rust Bucket where I see Max working on the engine.
Me: "How does she look?".
Max: "Nothing too serious a couple fuses shorted out should be a quick fix".
We both soon hear Gwen scream before rushing back to the room as we see Gwen sat on the bed looking afraid as Max goes over and I look round only see Ben was missing before checking outside.
Me: "BEN WHERE ARE YOU".
Max was talking to Gwen before I head back and she explains that Ben was taken by a man with yellow hair and I knew she was talking about Dio but she said he headed to the forest just behind the motel so rush after him.
Me: "I need to find him and fast".
As I ran through the trees I soon hear the sound of Ben's voice and I follow it and I see Dio holding him by his shirt as I stand a little distance to make sure he doesn't hurt Ben.
Me: "Let him go Dio".
Dio: "But the fun has only just begun and besides I have a duty to kill him".
I rush in as he tossed Ben into a tree knocking him out as I dial up Heatblast and transform however due to my alien selection feature the Omnitrix chose a different alien so instead of Heatblast I got Diamond Head.
Diamond Head: "Seriously why did you give me Diamond Head".
I soon found out as Dio tries to drive his fangs into my neck but my unbreakable skinmade that impossible as I grab him and through him into the ground before morphing my arm into sword but he dodged as I slam it into the ground.
Dio: "It would appear that I can not hurt you".
Diamond Head: "Lets see how well you do with me now because after this I'm taking you back".
Dio: "But can you defeat us".
Diamond Head: "Us?".
As I said that I was soon phase into the ground as I see Ghostfreak appear next to Dio and I should of seen this coming Ghostfreak was one of Ben big villians and believing he was destroyed was just foolish.
Ghostfreak: "This is the one you were telling me about he doesn't seem very tough".
Dio: "Don't underestimate him Ghostfreak after all now you can have that which I promised".
Ghostfreak goes towards Ben but I managed to break free making them focus on me as I run and grab Ben before rushing towards the motel however Ghostfreak and Dio were not far behind.
Diamond Head: "Sorry Ben looks like we need a detour".
I change direction and managed to find a small cave which I place Ben in and cover it with my crystals as Dio and Ghostfreak catch up but I stand ready to fight.
Dio: "Why do you fight when it's pointless?".
Diamond Head: "Easy because it's what heroes do and your not getting near the boy".
I use my Omnitrix to transform only this time I go for a fusion alien since I was facing Dio and Ghostfreak I needed some thing that can deal with both of them.

ShockStrike: "Lets see you both deal with the most electrifying alien in all of the universe".
Dio: "Ghostfreak be careful around him".
Ghostfreak: "Don't tell me what to do Dio besides I am more than capable of beating this man without you".
I watch Ghostfreak come towards me but I gave him a shock literally as he was hit by a good amount of electricity which made him back away as I crack my knuckles.
Dio: "I told you so".
ShockStrike: "Oh come on I am full of power to charge this fight".
Dio and Ghostfreak soon rush at me but I use my electrical power to blast them with a beam I charged in my hands and it was so strong that it sent them into the sky where I soon brought a bolt of lightning down on them but Dio managed to slip away but Ghostfreak was destroyed by the large amount of power in the attack as Dio lands in front of me.
Dio: "Well that was shocking".
ShockStrike: "No more running Dio we are going home".
Dio: "Oh but the time isn't right besides should our fun end I'll make sure that person close to you disappear".
ShockStrike: "I'm not going to listen to your threats Dio".
Dio: "And who said it was a threat besides my friends are still preparing".
ShockStrike: "Preparing for what?".
Dio: "The darkness, the on coming storm because soon it will be the moment of your fall and my rise because on that day it will be the end".
Dio jumps up and starts to fly away as I'm forced to change back because of my Omnitrix running out of energy but as he leaves he says something that makes me worried.
Dio: "Prepare for the end F/n because on that day it will be the end, THE END OF TIME ITSELF".
Just like a ghost in the night Dio vanished and I was left feeling a sense of fear because in those words told me that now Ben wasn't the only one in danger but now all of time the queation is who is helping Dio but right now I had to get Ben back to the motel so his Granpa knew his was alright as I grab him from the cave and carry him back to the motel where I see Gwen and Max waiting for us.
Max: "Ben".
Me: "He's ok just asleep but he'll be fine".
Max: "Thank goodness".
After they took Ben to the room I stay outside and look at the night sky as it always made me calm down but this was only because I had her by my side through the good and the bad days but this night I felt truely alone but my job was far from done and I knew Dio was going to keep attacking but this was not about Ben any more but instead about me so I let them all fall asleep before leaving a note and walk away from the motel never looking back.
Me: >Dio you and I have no place in this time but if I can't get us home then I will have no choice but to end you and break my code<
As I got further and further away from the Tennyson's I knew Dio and I would meet again because the war we started is now locked for the end and as a hero following in Ben's footsteps I must destroy Dio or die trying.
