A True Hero

After taking Charmcaster to the hospital I wait hoping she will be ok the wound wasn't serious but it still could of took her life if left untreated but we were lucky that a hospital was nearby.

Doctor: "Excuse me sir".

Me: "How is she?".

Doctor: "To be honest she was lucky that whatever pierced her stomach didn't hit any vital organs but she will have a slight scar but other than that she will make a full recovery".

Me: "That's great to hear".

After that I was about to leave and chase after Dio again but I was soon stopped by slight pain in my chest but I shake it off and start walking but I soon hear the doctor call me and asked if I would like to see her which I did one final check.

Doctor: "She is inside take as long as you need".

I enter the room as the doctor walks away and after entering the room I see her sitting there as the rays of sunlight light up her face but she was quick to notice me as I walk over and sat next to her.

Me: "How do you feel?".

Charmcaster: "Like crap but I'll live".

Me: "That's good".

Charmcaster: "Why did you save me?".

Me: "I promised to protect you".

Charmcaster shook her head showing she didn't believe me and she was right I was lying but my really reason was something a little more complicated.

Me: "It's complicated".

Charmcaster: "I believe it's got something to do with your time".

Me: "You could see through me even now just like always fine I'll tell you but it stays between us ok".

I pull a locket out of my pocket and show her what was inside and explain the whole reason and the people in the photo before she hands it back and looks at me worried which to me was nothing new.

Charmcaster: "What will you do now?".

Me: "I need to hunt Dio down and finish him before things get worse because if I know Dio his threat is serious".

Charmcaster noticed I was holding my chest as I turn away from her and prepare to leave but she grabs my hand making me stop.

Charmcaster: "Your not well I can see that if you keep going like this you'll die".

Me: "I have a job to protect and that is what I will do".

Charmcaster: "Why do you heroes have to keep fighting until you die".

Me: "I'm no hero".

I pull myself from her grip and walk out the door leaving her behind as I walk out the hospital as I left the pain in my chest got a little worse but I push through it and keep moving.

Me: >Dio, Eon, Vilgax, Kevin and Dr. Animo those five are enough trouble but they will get more that is for sure but who<.

As I walked through the small town I could still feel the pain in my chest as I remember what Azmuth told me when I recieved the Omnitrix.

To the future

After Ben's passing I was called by Azmuth to meet him in his lab where I would recieve the Omnitrix.

Me: "Azmuth I'm here".

Azmuth: "Oh good your here I have something for you".

As Azmuth leads through the halls I noticed that many of the Galvan were not allowed to follow as we enter a locked room where I saw the Omnitrix as we stood there looking at it Azmuth hopes up on to my shoulder.

Azmuth: "Tell me would you like the chance to be a real hero".

Me: "I don't have that right you know my past".

Azmuth: "True but Ben saw different and over the year since his passing I have watched your growth and the work you have put in to hold up his belief he put in you and so I have chosen to offer you the Omnitrix should you want it".

I soon accept his offer and the Omntirx became mine but he soon gave me a warning about the Omnitrix.

Azmuth: "Now that you have accepted the role I will grant you all the aliens Ben had unlocked but I must warn you don't use master control".

Me: "Why?".

Azmuth: "Master control is the most powerful feature of the Omnitrix it allows the user to remain alien for as long as they want and switch at will but all that switching will cause damage to the user back in the day Ben used it a total of two times but after looking into it I saw that it was slowly damaging his body".

Me: "Makes sense something that strong must have some nasty side effects".

Back to the past

I continue to walk before turning into an alley way and lean against a wall before sliding to the floor as my breathing became heavy.

Me: "I can't waste time".

I wanted to move but my body refused to let me and I was forced to sit there for hours until I hear someone call my name only to see it was the Tennyson's but they were not alone as I see Charmcaster with them.

Me: "Why are you all here?".

Gwen: "Simple because your our friend and after we got here we heard about a man brought a woman with silver hair to the hospital and Charmcaster explained things your becoming reckless".

Me: "I can handle thing on my own".

Ben: "Yeah right you look like your knocking on deaths door".

Max: "Lets get him inside".

After we enter the Rust Bucket I was soon being looked after like some sick puppy but Charmcaster seems to still be worried as I take hold of her hand.

Me: "I'll be fine".

Charmcaster: "I know it's just what you told me I don't want that to change".

Me: "I'm sorry I'm making you worry not really hero like".

Charcaster: "Your wrong saving a life and struggling like you are make you a true hero but more than that I think your special to me".

Me: "You know something your real name suits you and do you know why?".

Charmcaster: "Why?".

Me: "Because whenever I look at you I see a person full of Hope for the furture".

Charmaster and I just laugh at my silly pun but it was a nice moment and for the first time since arriving in this time I actually felt happy as Me, Charmcaster, Ben, Gwen and Max set off to stop Dio together.
