What have I gotten myself into?
It was supposed to be a regular morning. Papyrus woke me up, and I went to my station for a while, taking a nap and drinking ketchup.
Then I went to Hotland to see if the human had reached there yet. Luckily, they left Snowdin alone from their rampage.
The sight in front of me gave me chills.
What I saw was dust, Undyne's armour next to it.
I'm still wondering how. Undyne was one of the strongest monsters in the underground! She could beat almost anyone in combat!
And even if the human killed everyone in the old lady's domain, they would only have got LV 3! (LV is what you get when you kill someone)
Maybe the human had something that caused them immense power? Something that could best Undyne's will and strength? Or maybe, if they couldn't...
Maybe the power to come back?
No, that couldn't be true. I'll just shut up now.
Scarred, I went back to my station. How could I tell Papyrus that his mentor was dead?
Maybe I'll wake up and see this is all a dream. Something tells me it will.
"SANS! WHY HAS UNDYNE NOT ASKED ME TO COME FOR TRAINING TODAY?"
Shoot.
"AND WHY ARE YOU WRITING IN A DIARY WHILE I'M TALKING?"
"well, papyrus, i wanted to do something. so i am doing it. also, i don't know. have you tried calling?"
"YES, BUT SHE DIDN'T ANSWER... DOES SHE DISLIKE ME NOW?"
"no, i'm sure she just went on vacation."
"OH! WELL, I HOPE SHE HAS A GOOD TIME THERE! NYEH HEH HEH!"
And Papyrus walked away. He doesn't need to know yet.
Goodbye.
I'm sorry.
I can't wait anymore. I know what's happening. I need to pretend not to know anything, or else I'll get targeted.
When I was in the lab, under ☝︎✌︎💧︎❄︎☜︎☼︎'s iron grip, I saw many things.
The paper and information on the first fallen human, for instance.
They said that the human had DETERMINATION. And that there was a special thing the human could do. They called it RESET.
reset:
set again or differently.
When I was still a lab assistant, I always wondered about that definition.
And then everything clicked after the first RESET.
The euphoria after I finally got out was so strong, that I partly remembered it during the second route.
Human did genocide.
Then, I finally knew, what they meant by that.
The human restarted our lives, going back.
Ruining everything I ever hoped for.
That's it. I'll see you tomorrow.
Sans the Skeleton.
