Let Me Help You (Mizuena)

A Day In The Mall

Mizuki's POV:
"It feels like there's nothing to do.." I groaned. "Maybe somebody is already on Nightcord.." I checked Nightcord, but unfortunately, nobody was online. I checked the time and realised it was only 12:47pm. "Eh? It's that early? Hm.." I started typing, in the hopes that Kanade or Ena would answer. I knew that Mafuyu was at school, so she couldn't answer.

Amia:Hey guys! Mall today at 2pm?

I started scrolling through Instagram, and saw that Ena had just posted a new photo. "Oh, she might have seen the notification." I thought to myself. I logged on to Nightcord, and to my delight, Ena had replied.

Enanan:I should be able to.

I smiled as I read the text. My smile grew wider when I saw Kanade was typing.

K:I can't go today, I'm visiting somebody.

My smile had dropped a little, but I was still happy with the outcome.

Amia:Alright! See you there Ena~

We don't usually call each other by our real names on Nightcord, but I like to do it every so often. Apart from me and Ena, the rest of the group hardly every meet up, apart from special occasions. It's nice to call them by their real names every once in a while.

They arrived at the mall

I looked around. Ena wasn't there yet. I couldn't blame her- I was 5 minutes early. I started humming the new song that our group, Nightcord at 25:00, had just made.

A few minutes later, Ena arrived. "Ena! You're late!" I yelled, teasing her.
"It's 2pm!" Ena bellowed.
"Relax.. I'm only messing." I replied, grinning. "Let's go! There's a new shop that recently opened up that looks like it has adorable accessories!" I grabbed Ena's hand and pulled her into the mall with me.

"Mizuki!!" She yelled, but I kept running with her. We made it to the shop. "Ooh, this does look quite adorable." Ena replied, staring at a pastel pink pair of earrings that were shown for display.
"I know, right?" I said. I let go of Ena's hand and rushed into the shop, immediately running to the necklace section. I haven't bought a new necklace in so long.

"Mizuki, are you even going to wear that?" She asked me, with a tired expression on her face. "You always buy necklaces but never end up wearing them."
"Ena!" I yelled. "That's not true.. Well.. Maybe a little bit.." The truth is, I find necklaces very uncomfortable.. but it's nice to buy them so that I can say I have it!

"Mhm, don't be spending money on those things!"
"Aw.. Ena! You're being so nice all of a sudden, I didn't know how much you cared about me and my money~" I teased.
"Oh- shut up!" She replied, blushing a little in embarrassment.

We spent our time in the accessory shop mainly just looking at cute things we thought would suit us. "Hey, Ena. Should we go to the clothes shop we always go to now? Since we have a few new accessories, we could find some cute outfits that match!" I suggested.
Ena nodded. "Okay then!"

We left the shop and made our way to the clothes shop. "Hey, Ena. Can we play truth or dare? The clothes shop is way down the end of the mall."
"Alright.." She nodded. "But no crazy dares like last time! After I did the dare to hug that stranger.. I thought they were going to get security!" She sighed.

"Alright alright.. So, truth or dare?"
"Truth." She replied. It was obvious that she didn't trust me with dates after the last time.
"Do you like anybody?" I asked her, grinning. She blushed a little bit and nodded slightly.
"I'm not exactly sure.. but I think so."
"Who?"
"Hey! That wasn't apart of the dare!" She complained.
"Okay okay.. Now ask me!"

"Truth or dare?" She asked me. It took me a moment to answer.
"Hm.. I always choose dare. Maybe truth!"
"Do you like anybody?" She smiled.
"Eh- Uh.. No. I don't think so.." I think I might have had a small crush on somebody, but I wasn't so sure, so I kept my mouth shut.
"Oh..okay then." She smiled once again.

They went into the clothes shop and came out  15 minutes later after trying on lots of clothes (srry for being lazy) also they got food before that on their way to the shop

"That pastel green skirt suits you so well! Especially with the jumper you picked out!" I said to Ena.
"I agree." She replied eagerly. "That blue matching one that you had got also suits you! That cream jumper really does with everything.."

We chatted a lot more on our way down the mall. I checked my phone and gasped. "Uh oh.. Ena.. it's 5pm." I said with a frown. "The mall is going to be closing soon. I guess this is where we part ways."

She turned away as she said this. "Mizuki, today eas really fun. And I know it may seem very sudden- but could we also hang out tomorrow?" She asked, giving me a quick glance. "There's this cafe that I like to go to, and we could meet there?"

I agreed eagerly. Ena gave me the details about the cafe and where it is. "Alright! Well, see you at 25:00!" I called out to her as she began to walk away. "Bye!"
"Bye Mizuki!" She shouted. She would usually just wave at me, so I was quite happy when she actually spoke when she said goodbye.
