One Last Time

Chapter 7: Amin

The schedule was so busy for us that I lost track of some things I needed to do. Kinakausap ko si Josh regarding his and Ken's little argument, I didn't want to get in the way but I was afraid that one thing was going to escalate into a fight. I trust both of them because they are old enough to handle their emotions, I was afraid that Ken or Josh would take this harshly resulting in a feud that may last a long time.

"Kainis, ayaw kasing makinig muna." Sabi ni Josh sa akin. I looked over and saw Stell talking to Ken.

I told Justin to clean the studio before we went back inside, he wasn't allowed to talk to either. One being that he is Josh's boyfriend and Ken's bestfriend.

"Stell, ako muna." I told him then he went to Josh. "Are you okay?"

"Okay naman." Sambit nito at tumingin sa side ni Josh. "Pabs, mali ba ako lagi?"

I furrowed my brows as his question had confused me. "Hindi ka laging tama but that doesn't mean na lagi kang mali."

"Kung titignan mo kasi...mas may alam si Josh. Mas reasonable siya, baka mali talaga ako sa mga kilos ko."

I sat next to him on the floor and proceeded to listen.

"I have a feeling na hindi na ito tungkol sa away niyo ni Josh." I said and looked at him. "What's bothering you?"

He chuckled and played with his hands. "Masama yata na ganito ang nararamdaman ko." He started. "Pero nagkakagusto ako kay Josh."

I stopped and lost my words. "Akala ko you liked the girl from before?"

"I do pero ngayon I feel something for Josh." Sambit nito at tinignan si Josh at Justin na naguusap. "Kaso...sila na ni Jah."

"But..."

"I know you wouldn't understand me." He said. "Me and Josh...we had something special back then. Hanggang ngayon kinakapitan ko pa rin ang something namin na matagal na nagwakas."

"How long?"

He smiled a little and had a tear escape his eyes. "10 years..."

I was silent for a moment, he's been coping all this time? "Ang tagal na..."

"Yeah." Sagot nito. "Ako ang nagkamali, I was a walking red flag all he ever wanted was to feel loved but I pushed him away and look who's suffering now."

"Ken, I think the reason you can't move on is because you're still hoping there would be something but they're happy."

"At masaya ako para sa kanila pero...may mga bagay na hindi ko mapigilan talaga. Nasasaktan ako dahil nagsimula kami pero hindi natapos ng maayos."

I comforted him and told Jah to just let us be first.

"You know how you feel towards Stell?" He said. "Ganon ako...umaasa ako."

"So you know..." I said. "I want him, gusto kong mapa saakin si Stell. Hindi ko kakayanin kung may iba siyang magustuhan."

"Kelan mo nalaman na gusto mo na siya?"

"Nung nakita ko siya. Para akong nabuhayan nung nagkita kami, my heart didn't stop beating and I knew it was only beating for him."

"Finally."

I looked up and saw Josh, Justin and Stell watching me and Ken talk to each other.

"Joke lang! We just did that para umamin ka na sa feelings mo." Sabi ni Josh sa akin.
