Chapter 1: First day of school.

My POV:
"SHANNON! WAKE UP! ITS YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!" My mum woke me up. ugh how I wish it was still the holidays. Time really do flies. 3 months ago I just had my school holidays and now back to going back to "hell".The first week of school usually sucks, all the girls in my class will always hug each other as if they havent seen each other for years. Especially the "popular girls", they will start folding their skirts making as short as they can and will use excuses like their skirts are too "lose" or "long" .Some can't even breathe in their uniforms as it looks too tight on them.

The popular girls in my class or should I say the volleyball girls, always bully the none vb(volleyball in short) girls or guys as they are known as the pupils who give "pride" to they school just because they always win the national championships. And they have a vb "quote" that says that they should stick together , the principal always has bias spot for them.Many yearned to be in vb, but those who weren't in vb will try too hard to mix around the vb girls, which made them a fool of themselves as they are treated like dogs. On the other hand,the volleyball boys are not bad as they do not treat people like how the vb girls treat others.They tend to be more kind but sometimes they are can be a jerk. "Ring!" The school bell rang and Mrs Tan , our form teacher of our class walked in. My class have been separated into 2 sections , which the vb girls created. One section was the popular kids and the other one was called "losers" because half of the vb girls from my grade was in my class, so being bullied wasn't really a new thing for me. I was in the loser section and hence, I was considered as a loser (I don't mind) but luckily I had a friend. Her name was nicole and we were super close since last year, we treated each other well as we felt like we can only depend each other in school. "Ahem!" Mrs Tan slammed the board as the class was filled with vb girls and some hockey guys talking. " Quiet now, so class I know that today is your first day of school in grade 8, but before continuing with your chattering, there will be someone joining our class, he is from Korea and his name is chanyeol but you guys will call him Nicholas (English name) and he's new to our school so I hope you guys can guide him along the way." A tall handsome guy suddenly walk in the classroom. His hair was in light brown shade and his face was so cute and handsome. "OMG SO HANDSOME! Girls! I THINK I HAVE A NEW CRUSH!" Victoria,the head of the vb girls from our grade exclaimed. "Nicholas you can choose your seat." Mrs Tan said politely. He was walking in my direction! I tried to calm myself but the more he came closer to me, I couldn't help but smile. (:

Right beside me always had a empty seat as no one wants to seat with me, even nicole as I was known as "Victoria's enemy". Nicholas aka Chanyeol walked past me and saw a empty seat beside me , so he sat on it. "Nicholas,come seat with me! Don't sit beside that loser!" Victoria proudly said with a whiny tone in her voice as she thinks that she's the prettiest girl in class. Nicholas ignored her and we didn't talk at all till English lesson.

Nicholas POV:
Omg the girl who called my name is so annoying and so ugly. I like this girl, Shannon she looks so cute but she sure she's quiet! Ahhhh this is my expectations of a girl ! NICHOLAS STOP LOOKING AT HER ! SHE MIGHT THINK THAT YOU'RE WEIRD! Hmm does she knows that I'm from Korea? And in a boy band? Should I say hi to her?

My pov :
Omg this is so awkward..He looks like a guy from exo! Omg stop Shannon! I kept blushing at the thought that he really look like a guy in exo and coincidentally they both have the same name called chanyeol! It may seem weird but I'm the only girl who knows about k-Pop and the rest of the girls/ guys don't even know who is Big Bang as they feel that music is just a waste of time.

During English lesson; " Er hi! My name is park chanyeol Nicholas! What's yours?" Nicholas whispered to me, not wanting the teacher to catch him from talking.

My pov:
OMG DID NICHOLAS JUST TALK TO ME? OMG WHAT SHOULD I REPLY?OMG AHHHH!!! Okay chill Shannon he's just being friendly! It's weird that he's the first guy who ever talked to me in LIKE FOREVER.
"Err hi.... My name Shannon."

Nicholas pov:
OMG SHE REPLIED WHY DID YOU SAY THAT PARK CHANYEOL NICHOLAS! Now you just made things awkward! SAY SOMETHING!
"Oh nice name! I hope we can be friends in the future and please correct my English if it's not good."Nicholas said awkwardly.
I blushed and said "Thanks.... haha don't worry your English is fine! Bu the way, you're from Korea right?"

"Yea...!i just came to Singapore to study for awhile, you look sad haha. You know that girl? The Victoria girl ? I think she needs plastic surgery! Haha she look like she is 40 instead of 16 with all those make up on haha!" Nicholas laughed.
I smiled and giggled. Soon class was over. Me and Nicholas chatted in class so much that the teacher almost caught as chatting. We both waved to each other goodbye before separating ways back home.
