Chapter 2: My past.

It's been a week now.Me and Nicholas weren't really awkward and we felt very comfortable talking to each other.

Nicholas POV:
Hmm should I tell her that I'm in a boy band in Korea? A lot of people here don't really seem to know about k-Pop.. Hmm since I'm only close to her and she looks trustable, I will tell her.
"Shannon? I need to tell you something but I doubt you will believe." Nicholas said awkwardly.
"Hmm what do you want to tell me about? Wait before you say anything,your name is the same as a guy in a Korean band name exo and you really look like him! Are you Chanyeol?" I said.

"OMG HOW DID YOU KNOW?"Nicholas aka Chanyeol shouted.
"Huh!!??!!" I was taken aback by his volume.
"To be honest,I'm in a boy band and I came to Singapore to study cause I thought it would be quieter and better environment for me and since I had 1 year left before I debut so why not come to study?" He said.
"OMG WHAT? ARE YOU REALLY PARK CHANYEOL FROM EXO? OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?" I was so surprised.

My POV:
OMG WHAT. ALL ALONG I WAS TALKING TO THIS FAMOUS GUY THAT NO ONE NOTICED! OMG I'M SO LUCKY!!!
"So this will be our secret?"
"Of course that's what friends are for right?"
I said in a happy tone because for a long time, I didn't have a true friend and after so long, I finally felt like I had a best friend again.
"Alright class,now please pair up with a guy for the girls and guys must pair up with a girl." Miss Teo, my fierce PE (Physical Education) teacher said. She was the head of the vb boys, hence all the vb girls were quiet as they were all scared of her and respected her. "Wanna pair up with me?" Nicholas winked at me.
Since I had no guy to pair up with, I agreed. All of a sudden, Victoria came walking past me.

"Hi Nicholas and Shannon! OMG shannon you look really cute! Oh ya,Nicholas wanna partner up with me ? " Victoria said "plasticly" . Ewww I said to myself because she was obviously trying to act really kind infront of Nicholas to me. Before I said anything, Nicholas said " I'm pairing up with Shannon." Victoria face suddenly turned red as it was her first time being rejected.

She smiled at Nicholas and gave me a smile with a death stare. We played dodge ball. Victoria and all the vb girls purposely aimed at me as she was so mad and jealous. But who knew, Nicholas tried to protect me. I felt safe and the vb girls went to aim at other people.

During recess,I stayed in class because I always hate being surrounded with people I don't like. Nicholas then walk up to me and asked " Why are you not going recess? Aren't you hungry? Does Victoria hate you?"
I looked up at him and I told him everything. I replied I wasn't hungry and decided to tell him about my past. Me and Victoria used to be close friends and I was so called "popular" in the past as I had many friends. Many people envied our friendship till one day victoria got accepted in Volleyball and from that day onwards,our friendship was slowly falling apart.

Many people told her that I was better then her and always compared me to her , until one final day she decided to be mean to me and start asking all her vb girls to bully me. That year was the worst year in my life. Eerybody did not want to be my friend as they all wanted to be friends with Victoria to be "popular" . I survived this for 2
Years and this is my 3rd year , luckily I stayed strong, and had nicole. And I didn't really had a real friend till I met you.
After Nicholas heard my story,he gave me a hug. I buried my face in his chest because tears started to flow out from my eyes uncontrollably. I felt so safe and secure.. when I hugged Nicholas aka Chanyeol. I've never felt this before. Nicholas gently patted my head and lifted my chin. "I promise you will not suffer like this anymore." Those words kept repeating in my head.

Nicholas POV:
Urgh. I can't bear to see Shannon suffering from all this bullsh*t. I really really WANT TO SLAP that bitch (Victoria). Control chanyeol-ah!
