Even though he saved you, you still kept distance with him. The way he looked and his aura overall was intimidating to you, you weren't sure what to think about this man that saved you.

He turned to you completely, waiting for you to say something. "So are you gonna say something or you're just gonna stand there?" He asks calmly, but still adding a pinch of impatience in his voice.

You jumped a little, you stammered a bit to get the words out but you managed, "I just... well I just wanted to say thank you for saving me from that man." You say in response.

The man only chuckles a little bit and shakes his head as he looks down, "I wasn't really trying to." He says casually, you were taken aback by the sudden reply, "I was waiting for the perfect time to get him, not to save you."

At this point you backed away a bit more, you didn't have anything else to say, you just bit your tongue trying to hold back the words you wanted to say to this man, who knows what he would do to you he might be armed even.

"But it's over now, I guess I'll have to look where he might have gone to." He says and then he turns his back to you as he starts walking away, leaving you all alone.

You stood there processing everything this man said to you, you didn't know where to start. He didn't have any intentions of saving you, he was trying to get the killer instead. Is he some sort of detective? No that couldn't be the case he didn't look like one at all. You pushed those thoughts aside for later, you just wanted to get out of this place in case that killer came back.

Days passed and you still couldn't get over the man that "saved" you, it was still processing in your head. You didn't understand this man, it was as if he was just looking for some sort of revenge.

But after all that event happened you doubt it could happen again, you just hoped it wouldn't happen.

You finally got out of work, your shift being disastrous as it was filled with lots of costumers. You rarely would get yelled at by your costumers, but whenever it happened it would ruin your whole mood, especially when that client would come a few minutes before closing.

You sighed as you take out your keys, once you stepped out of the store the cold breeze of the night greets you, the hair in your skin standing up as you felt a chill running down your spine. You take a deep breath and adjust the coat you were wearing as you headed home. Though this time you took another route other than the path you used to take, better be safe than sorry.

As you walked you could hear faint steps behind you, and ever since that night it made you feel paranoid. Your head moves slowly to look behind and see a familiar white hoodie. That small glimpse was enough to make your heart stop and make you alert, you start to speed walk. You started to think maybe it was another person, it's not who you think it is.

But when you speed walked the same person started to do the same thing, that's when you instantly knew that he was right behind you. You didn't hesitate and start running, once you started to run that same laugh could be heard as he chased you down.

"Don't think I'm gonna forget you that easily!" He yelled as he ran behind you, your whole body sending you into alert not knowing what to do, but it just knew that it needed to run away from this killer as soon as possible and be safe.

It needed to survive another day.

You see your house getting closer the more you ran, hopes to get safely there made you even more faster and less afraid, feeling like you could get away until you feel a painful hit on your back making you fall on the concrete.

"You thought you could get away that easily?" He yells almost in your ear with his raspy yet dry voice, his harsh breaths giving it away that he was just as tired, you gave him a hard time. You wasted no time and quickly pushed him off as soon as you felt him lowering his guard down.

You thanked yourself for being a good runner, just for a short period of time as you also lose stamina way too easily. You wasted no time to open the door to your house and slam it shut, you quickly take out your phone to dial the police. "Come on... come on pick up now–"

"911 what's your emergency?" Your hopes went up until your phone was suddenly slapped out of your hands and smashed to bits on the floor.

You couldn't exactly see as the lights were off, you left like you lose your breath just now from that sudden slap, you stayed in place as your shaky breath was giving away where you were. "It's gonna be useless, you'll be dead by the time they get here." A familiar voice rang in your ear, your breath hitched, fear taking over you as you hear the same man that saved you from last time, how in the world did he get in your house? You couldn't tell where he was, his steps were way too silent. "He's coming, he knows where you are."

You wasted no time and ran blindly towards the kitchen, trying to get there by memory, luckily you didn't trip as you knew where you placed your stuff, you shakily reached there and turned on the lights. As soon as you turned them on you met those pair of green eyes staring right at your soul.

You quickly grab a kitchen knife and point it at him, "what in the world do you want from me, what is your deal?!" You shout as you shakily gripped the knife in your hands.

The man was unfazed by it, his hands in the pockets of his black coat, his calm demeanor making you more terrified of him.

What does he want exactly for him to show up again?
