It's been days since you've last went back to your house, and since you ever seen Liu. You ended up in your mother's home which she accepted you quickly to stay for a couple of days until the police reach out to you if they found anything in your home.

You of course were taken to the hospital to get your shoulder treated after the incident, and you were told to rest for a few days for it to completely heal and not do much force on your right arm.

Silence was filled in the room, you took comfort of the room you used to live in, your mother never touched anything and left it as it was after you left the house and started to live on your own. You kept in touch with her of course, but you could barely see her since she lives three hours away from your home.

You decided to use her laptop for research, the sound of your fingers tapping on the keyboard ended the deafening silence it had in the room, maybe to see if there were any news about you or anything related to the smiley killer, Liu (or at least Toby) but there was nothing other than a possible 'break in' in your house and the investigation is ongoing, which the police hasn't publicly release yet.

You sighed as your head laid on the pillow, you closed your eyes, wondering how you ended up in this mess, all because you witnessed a crazy man killing another person. He probably didn't want to be thrown under the bus by some simple person who saw it all.

Or maybe he actually knew you.

Your eyes flutter back open, meeting an empty wall in front of you, the laptop is still on your lap. You didn't realized you fell asleep, you slowly put the laptop beside you, getting up from your bed and see if you could get something to eat.

As you slowly get out of your room you see your mother on the sofa watching the news, something she would never get out, she was somehow always informed. You paid no mind of course, you quietly walk across the living room as you grabbed a slice of bread and put it in the toaster.

Your eyes looked from the toaster to the television with bored eyes, but a certain someone caught your eye when you saw the picture of a familiar person.

Liu.

You didn't say anything but your eyes were still glued to the television, your mother in the other hand broke the silence, "doesn't he look familiar, (Y/n)?" Your mother asks, which was something that made you even more surprised coming from your mother.

The more you thought about it, he did. Then you realized how he looked at you last time, those green eyes full of thought and... concern. You quickly take out the bread from the toaster putting it on your plate and quickly taking it with you to your room.

You carefully put it on your bed before looking everywhere in your room, looking for that one yearbook you kept, where you were friends with everyone and those said friends signed your yearbook. As much as you looked for it there was nothing, closet, under your bed, shelves everywhere in your room but nothing.

Then you remembered you left it at your house.

You couldn't help but mentally facepalm yourself, your knees on the floor looking defeated, now you may have an idea who this person who suddenly saved your life might be, the signs were very clear and you started to wonder what he wanted with you, you don't remember doing anything to him.

You sighed as you slowly get up and look at the bread you toasted, it was all cold and hard already, you simply picked it up and threw it away, what a big realization, if you ever see him again which is a big possibility once you go back home, you will have the courage to ask him questions now.

There was no way this man would follow you for three hours to your mother's house.

It was finally nighttime, and you were already in bed reading a book before going to sleep, you were surprised at how calm and collected you've been after this whole thing that has happened, probably cause you were far away from the place, maybe because there was no way a killer would follow you all the way here.

Unless he's that eager to catch you and finally end you. As you put your book down you slowly get up from your bed to get some water but you were suddenly startled by a knocking on your window.

You slowly turned around to see a silhouette from the window, gentle tappings could be heard, you quickly turn the light on only to be met by a very feminine mask with long black hair. It was a woman, she realized that the window was unlocked and she lifted it up as she invited herself in to your room.

You cursed internally as you forgot that window was always left unlocked.

"(Y/n), it's been a while." The woman says, starting a casual conversation.

You froze, your hand gripping on the doorknob, your mouth was dry from the scare you just had that this random woman with a mask showed up to your room, she looked so pale too, reminding you of that smiling killer, "who... who are you?" You couldn't get the words out, you were terrified as you saw her holding a knife in her hand.

"I think I should be the one asking you questions, now let go of that doorknob and sit down on the bed." She asks patiently, pointing at the bed with her knife, waiting for you to obey her orders.

You slowly let go of the doorknob, trying to make some distance from this woman and listening to her just so you won't anger her.
