My sincere apologies for the long wait time for chapter two... but this was way more research-heavy than I ever could have imagined. After careful thought, the nature of Akame Ga Kill doesn't suit a corp like the one currently used. I believe switching to a unit of a smaller nature may allow the story to be more similar to the original, but that's just my opinion. If you have your own thoughts, please do leave a comment or some way to let me know. There are a few choices on how to proceed from here.
1. One-man army: You're a grenadier at the battle of Jena-Auerstedt, using the outdated rigid tactics of your commanders. Suddenly, a french cavalry charge hits your line hard, and you go flying and are knocked out. When you wake up, you're in Akame ga kill, classic isekai style. (Probably the easiest to do and with the fasted release times)
2. Company force: You're the captain of a fusilier or light infantry company attached to the 13th Musketeers Regiment. Aka the 1st. Westphalian, "Herwarth von Bittenfeld". At the battle of Waterloo, you were ordered by the Regiment's colonel to detach your company and move ahead in order to catch up with the Prussian cavalry already at the battle. Your company moves through a treeline, but after a few steps, you notice you're now in a different forest, the same one where Night Raid's base is. (My personal favorite option, nearly as easy to do as the one-man army, definitely the most fun, and less research, yay! If no one votes, this one wins automatically)
3. As is, the same plotline so far as before, go read the prologue if you don't know what I mean.
