Ding!

"Denji" Makima calls out.

"Yeah?"

"We're supposed to wear uniforms, so put this on

Once you've changed, i'll introduce you to a coworker"

He's changed, without tying his tie since he doesn't even know how, and then there's this other guy next to him stood tall and serious, black hair that tied into a uh.. topknot style, and wearing the same uniform as Makima.

On his back there is a sword too, wonder if anyone gets suspicious with him carrying that thing around...

"This is Aki Hayakawa, he started three years before you, Denji. You're going to be shadowing him today."

"Eh? I'm not working with you, miss Makima?"

"That should be obvious" Gripping the back of the neck collar area, he drag Denji out of her office.

"Your not even in her league. Time for patrol."

"No! Miss Makima!"

"Damn it, get up" -Aki

"No way! I wanna work with Miss Makima!" -Denji

Makima walks up to Denji and forehead to forehead with him and whisper something to him.

"If you do a good job, we can work together someday."

Then she tying his tie, Aki looks back.

"So, do that okay?"

Denji just blushed

And if your wondering where that little gamer is, he's excuse himself for a moment.

And now Denji with Aki going on a stroll, with him nagging Aki.

"Hey, big man"

No response.

"Does miss Makima have a boyfriend?"

Again, no answer.

"Hey, come on"

...

"Hey!"

"Come with me"

The alleyway looks musty not gonna lie.

THWACK!

God damn, Aki just punched Denji on the face!

While Denji having his time on the ground, Aki made another move, he kicked his stomach and pull Denji to kick him again to the trash bags.

He pulled out a cigarette, light them up and smoke them up.

"You need to quit this job, show up tomorrow and i'll kick your ass again."

"Why though?"

"Look, i'm trying to be nice here, people who start this job without thinking it through end up dead. I've got colleagues who got into devil hunting for the payday, and it got them all killed by devils. The survivors are the ones with real motivation. Your just after Makima, right? That's why you took the job?"

"Ding-ding!" Idiot.

"Then im glad i hit you" He throw the half cigarette to Denji and spit on him.
