Flashback:

"I thought she moved out of town with her family," Tory said.

Yeah, she is, but now she's back with Miguel and their kids since she got a position as a doctor at the local hospital," he told her, and she nodded.

She was about to ask more questions when suddenly the door opened and Alex entered the dojo.

"Hey mom, hey dad," he told them.

"Hey buddy. Ready for training?" Tory asked him.

Alex nodded and went to the dressing room to change.

Now:

"Hey Miguel" Johnny said to Miguel and gently tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hello Johnny. I hope I'm not disturbing you", Miguel told him.

,, Of course not. I have so much free time that I could easily give it to others", Johnny told him.

"I thought you were supposed to come here with Sam and the kids until Sunday for the festive lunch? Your mom is already thinking about what to cook," he said and Miguel smiled.

,, Yes. But I wanted to talk to you about something today", Miguel told him.

"About what?" Johnny asked.

,, About Robby. Sam met him on the street yesterday, so I wanted to ask you if you're in touch", Miguel told him and Johnny nodded.

"We are. Sometimes he also comes here with the children and Tory. I know what you think about him, but he has changed and so has Tory. They became better people and good parents", Johnny told him with a smile when Carmen entered the apartment.

"What are you doing here Miggy? I thought you would only come on Sunday", she told him.

"I came here to talk to Johnny about something," he told her.

"Oh good. Don't you want to stay for lunch? I'm making my famous spaghetti", Carmen told him with a smile and he nodded.
