Chapter 9

Flashback:

All the students ran out of the classroom and ran in their own directions.

"Hey Amelia," Alex called to Amelia, and Amelia stopped.

"Yes?", she asked him, wondering what he wanted.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me to Golf n Stuff on Friday after school" he told her hoping she would say yes.

"Of course," she told him with a light smile on her face.

"Great. We'll meet in the parking lot after school, and I'll take you in my car," he told her.

"That sounds wonderful," she told him, and they quickly said their goodbyes.

Now:

"Austin, please open the door" Amelia said to her brother as she tried to take a nice selfie on the couch.

The boy sighed, and ran to the door when someone knocked on it.

"Amelia, there are three girls here," Austin told her, and she ran for the door.

"What are you doing here" Amelia said in surprise to Delphine, Ava and Alexis who were standing by the door.

"We heard the news," Alexis told her, and Austin gave Amelia a strange look.

,,It's delicious. Can we go to my room and talk about it?" Amelia asked them and they nodded yes.

In Amelia's room

"You didn't tell your parents or your brother about the meeting with Alex?" Ava asked her when all four were sitting on the bed.

,, Of course not. Parents are overprotective. If I told them about it, they wouldn't let me go", Amelia told them.

"What fake event did you think up for Friday?" Delphine asked her.

"That I will go shopping with you" Amelia told them and the girls nodded.
