Chapter 8

Flashback:

"We are. Sometimes he also comes here with the children and Tory. I know what you think about him, but he has changed and so has Tory. They became better people and good parents", Johnny told him with a smile when Carmen entered the apartment.

"What are you doing here Miggy? I thought you would only come on Sunday", she told him.

"I came here to talk to Johnny about something," he told her.

"Oh good. Don't you want to stay for lunch? I'm making my famous spaghetti", Carmen told him with a smile and he nodded.

Now:

"It's a shame that I don't have first class with you, but instead I have art class with Mr. Lucas," Delphine said to the girls annoyed.

"Don't worry, it'll be over quickly, and then we'll have German together," Alexis told her with an innocent smile.

"Let's go girls" Ava told them as the school bell rang.

They all nodded, started walking to their class and waved to Delphine, who left for art class.

The girls entered the room, and Ava and Alexis sat down next to each other. Amelia sat down at an empty table.

Alex entered the room and bet to Amelia. As soon as he sat down, Amelia's heart jumped for joy.

"Hi," Alex told her.

"Hi", she said back to him.

"Ready for today's test?", he asked her.

"No, and you?", she asked him.

"No," he said back to her as the teacher entered the room.

"Okay, okay, okay. Everyone close your textbooks and hand out the test. You have 40 minutes for it. Good luck", the teacher told them when he put the tests on their desks.

After class

All the students ran out of the classroom and ran in their own directions.

"Hey Amelia," Alex called to Amelia, and Amelia stopped.

"Yes?", she asked him, wondering what he wanted.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me to Golf n Stuff on Friday after school" he told her hoping she would say yes.

"Of course," she told him with a light smile on her face.

"Great. We'll meet in the parking lot after school, and I'll take you in my car," he told her.

"That sounds wonderful," she told him, and they quickly said their goodbyes.
