14. Pain

Uma her jaw hit the floor as she saw Harry, with y/n in his arms, crying.
"Oh god..." she mumbled, running to them, leaving Mal behind.
Uma dropped to her knees when she reached Harry and y/n, Harry looking at her pleadingly.
"Please tell me it's one of my nightmares..." he begged and Uma felt tears burn.
"Oh god..." she mumbled, placing a hand on y/n her cheek, feeling the cold skin undern the palm of her hand.
"She- she can't be dead... right?" Harry begged with bloodshot eyes and Uma placed a hand on y/n's chest.
Relief filling her face.
"Her heartbeat..." she breathed, taking one of Harry's hands, making him feel y/n's heartbeat.
"She's alive...?" Harry mumbled.
"She is alive." Uma said softly and Harry looked at Uma.
"She needs help... We need to wake her up somehow... I-"
"We will. We'll figure it out."
"Promise?" Harry asked softly and Uma looked him right in the eye.
"I promise."
She hugged him briefly and Mal approached the three of them.
"Need some help...?"
"Ya think?" Uma snapped.
"Guys- We were turned to stone- Now we're not- What- What the hell happened...?" Carlos mumbled as he arrived with Evie, Jay and Ben.
"We need help, Ben call an ambulance." Mal said and Ben immediately pulled out his phone.

Evie took Harry back to her cottage as the others either returned to their dorms or got a guest stay at the palace.
But Evie took Harry with her since Squirmy snd Squeaky were still there with Dizzy and Celia.
"What am I supposed to tell them..." Harry mumbled on the way.
"The truth... Gosh Harry... I don't know... I mean thise are the first few words you've said since it happened..."
"I was there when it happened... I couldn't help or protect her..."
"Harry..." Evie said softly and she hugged Harry.
"What was that?"
"Affection. Trying to make you feel better."
"Disguting."
"Did it help?"
"...not really. Hell, what if y/n is dead? Then the twins have no one left- I-"
"Harry, please... Y/n was alive when the paramedics arrived. And y/n is still alive. She isn't going to die. Not because of this. She'll survive. From what Gil said, she'd do anything to get back to her brothers."
Harry chuckled briefly.
"That's a fact." he scoffed softly and they continued walking to Evie's place.

"Harry!" Squirmy and Squeakt yelled when they arrived and they hugged him.
"Where's y/n?" Squeaky asked and they both looked at him.
Evie motioned for Dizzy and Celia to go with her to a different room as Harry bended through his knees to be on eye level with the boys.
"She got hurt... Audrey spelled her and she got hurt... And I couldn't help her... The others came and she's at the hospital... but I failed her..." Harry mumbled, trying not to break again.
"...will she be okay?" Squirmy asked softly and Harry felt a tear roll down his cheek.
"I don't know..."
The two boys hugged him and Harry felt how those two sobbed softly, he wrapped his arms around them, promising he'd do anything to protect them... forever.
