Chapter 24: Like That

Me and Hawk had managed to calm my kit down quite a bit. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he was so upset at me for. As I had not really said any thing to hurt him, as far as I knew.
Maybe it was just the simple fact that he did in fact blame me for the death of his father. And he did in fact blame me for the death of his brother and sister. As I now knew that he too was in fact having omens such as it was that I had not too long before now.
If I had listened to him, than maybe I could have saved them. It was in fact all my fault, as it made me feel sick as to the fact that I knew it was the case. As I felt like I could not blame my son for hating me, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
StoneTeller had told me that he was only saying things like that. As it was due to the fact that his head was in fact not working right just now. But I kind of felt like it was some thing that hit me deep in to my heart, none the less.
I kind of just simply stared below me for just a little bit more time. As it was in fact still quite a bit dark in the cave that I was in. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak to my self a little bit under my breathe, all at once.
"Just stay awake... No use in going to sleep at this point... Only to have another night mate and to risk Raven running out on me..." I said, as it was that I felt like it was the main fear that I did in fact have. As it was that I kind of shivered at even the thought of that all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stand there and stare beneath me for just a little bit more time. That was when it was that I just then in the end, at that. I did in fact just seem to calm my self down of course. As I then did in fact just seem to look right on over towards my kit, at that.
He just seemed to be standing there, almost as if he was not breathing. As it kind of made me shiver quite a bit as to the fact that it was that I was even thinking that way just now. As I then did in fact just seem to start to look away from him.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to hear paw steps. As it was clear to me that some one was coming in to the cave room that I was in just now. As it was that it kind of made me feel a little bit better to get my mind and my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that of course. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to hear the voice of StoneTeller. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to start to speak to me.
"Hey Oister... Hope that every thing is doing okay in here... Just checking in on you before I go to get herbs..." He said, as it was that I then began to realize that it was in fact not even night any more, at that. As it was clear to me that it was in fact early morning, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of began to get a little scared as to just letting him leave like that. As it was that I knew that it seemed like some thing had happened. Each time that he was in fact not here for him to help me with it, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared at the tom cat for just a little bit more time how ever, at that. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to nod back to him. As I knew that nothing had was really going to happen in this situation.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to have felt that way of course, all at the exact same time as well. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to speak to him. As it was that I knew that he was in fact listening as to just what it was that I felt like I must say to him just now, none the less.
"Yeah... Things seem to be going alright... He hasn't woken up since the incident, so I think I should just let him sleep for as long as he can..." I said, as it was that I then did in fact just seem to let out a rough sigh to my self. As I did my best to simply just keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stare at StoneTeller for just a little bit more time, at that. I saw that he was in fact seeming to have a bit of a scared look on his face. As it was that he was not looking towards me at all just now, at that.
But he was simply rather looking at my son, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that it did in fact just seem to freak me out quite a bit, all at the exact same time too. As it was that he then quickly then did in fact just seem to look right back on over towards me.
As it was that he had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that of course. He then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak to me. As I then did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say back on over towards me, at that.
"He's not waking up Oister..." He said to me, as it was that he did in fact just seem to have a distraught look on his face, at that. As it did in fact just seem feel like it made me freeze up. As my heart almost seemed to stop on me just now, as well.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there and continue to stare at him with a worried look. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to blink my eyes a few times of course. As I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak right back on over towards him right away.
He did in fact just seem to stand there and stare at me with his eyes wide, at that. As it was that it was in fact clear to me that it was at the very least. That he was still listening as to just what it was that I felt like I must even say to him just now.
"What do you mean?" I said to him, not all too sure as to just what it was that the tribe leader was even talking about just now. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to turn my head right on over towards my son. As it was that I saw that he just seemed to be laying there still.
Once again, it almost seemed like it was that he was not breathing just now. As it was that it was now actually starting to have me very worried, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could do in the mean time, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to come a little bit closer to my own son. Breathing in the air, as it was that I saw some mist come out as I did so. As I then once again did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of StoneTeller once again, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I realized that it was in fact the case of course. I turned my head right on over towards him with my eyes wide. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what it was that he felt like he must say to me in the very first place any ways.
"I mean... Your son has passed... I am sorry Oister..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just seemed to stare at the cat for just a few moments time, at that. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he had meant at first.
How ever, as it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hold on to my last kit. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to realize that his body was cold. As it was clear to me that he must have died at some point in the night, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to begin to start to realize that it was in fact the case. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead. And I then did in fact just seem to start to yell in quite a bit of some pain out loud, all at the exact same time too.
"No! This can't be! Why me?! Why me?!" I yelled to my self, as it was that I then did in fact just seem to close my eyes, all at once. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to feel like what ever bridge had been left to hold up the rest of every thing.
It was now just all falling apart at this point, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I felt like I just simply did in fact just want to give up on every thing just now, at that. As it was that I felt like there was simply no point in me living any longer, at that.
I was almost tempted to just go and jump off the non existent cliff where my mate and my other kits had fallen off, at that. As it was that it was all just gone for me now. As it was that there really was simply no point in me being alive just now.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have thought on those sort of dark thoughts for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of StoneTeller. As I really did in fact not want to hear what he had to say, though I did in fact listen any ways.
"I am sorry Oister... I don't know what to say to you... We've been through so much suffering lately... I just want it all to stop..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I was about to open my eyes in a little bit of some anger, at that.
How ever, I did in fact just seem to stop my self at the last moment all of the sudden, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to realize that he had meant what he had said. And it was clear that such as I was, that he was in fact in pain, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I just then did in fact just simply just fall to the ground. As I felt like I just simply wanted to collapse just now, at that. As it was that I kind of felt like there was really no point in me even living any longer, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I felt like there was nothing else left to live for of course.
As it was that I seemed to fall on to the ground, at that. I then did in fact just seem to look right back on up to StoneTeller, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to speak right back to him.
I saw that he did in fact just seem to still have his eyes on to mine. As it was that it made me feel some what better at the very least. As I knew that he was still listening as to just what it was that I felt like I just say back to him, all at the exact same time too.
"There's nothing left any more StoneTeller... I've lost all that I love... Why should I be alive?" I said to the tom cat, at that. As it was that I felt like it was in fact a fair question that it was that I had in fact asked him. Or rather one that it was that it seemed like I had asked my self.
As it was that I saw that the eyes on the tom cat did in fact just seem to grow wide all of the sudden, at that. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to simply go right on ahead. And I then did in fact just seem to breathe in quite a bit to my self, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to see the old tom cat. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to shake his head right back on over towards me.
I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was even getting at just now, at first. As it was that he just then did in fact just seem to continue to speak to me. As it was that I then did in fact begin to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must even say just now.
"You must keep fighting Oister... That is all that I can tell you... It is times like these where you are tested the most, and you have to show that you are strong..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I kind of just tilted my head a little bit on over towards him.
I kind of felt like it was in fact a little bit of a weak response for him to give back to me. As it was that it really did in fact not at all answer the question that it was that I had just asked him. Though, I also knew that it was a rough question to ask him, as I was sure that it was the best answer that he could give.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have stood there and stared at him for just a little bit longer. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to hear another voice from the front of the cave. As it was that my friend Hawk then did in fact just seem to step up and speak to me.
As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to realize that it was in fact the case. That was when I did in fact just seem to look at the worried she cat. As I then did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that she felt like she must even say just now.
"Is every thing okay in here? I heard yelling from out side..." She said to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to look at the she cat right in to her eyes, all at once. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to notice that it was.
That she was in fact quite a bit scared for me, at that. As it was that I knew that she had looked out for me this entire time, none the less. As I felt like I could feel nothing but gratitude for all that she had done, at that.
As it was that I knew that she too had lost her mate and her sister recently, all at the exact same time as well. As it felt like there was a lot of that going on in this tribe just now. As perhaps StoneTeller was right, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just seemed to stare beneath me for just a little bit more time. As I then eventually did in fact just seem to get my mind and my focus off of all of those thoughts. As I then did in fact just seem to start to step up and speak back to my friend, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to lock eyes with her of course. As it was clear to me, that she was in fact starting to listen as to just what ever it was that I felt like I must even say to her just now.
"My son... He has died Hawk..." I said to her, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should even say other than that, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I felt like it made me sick to even say what it was that I had even just said.
As I dared not even look at my son just now, at that. As it was that I felt like I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should even do. As it was that I just seemed to continue to stare right in to the eyes of my friend, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that she just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to go right on ahead, at that. And she then did in fact just seem to blink her eyes a few times at first, as well. Before she then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak back to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I just seemed to continue to stand there and stare at my friend in to her eyes. I felt like it was that it was just all just so empty to me just now, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to listen as to just what ever it was that she felt like she must even say to me just now, all at the exact same time too.
"Oh my! I am so sorry Oister! Not like this! What happened?!" She said, as it was clear that it was that she too was in fact just, at that. As it was that I kind of felt like it was that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should even do just now.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to just stand there and stare, at that. As I then did in fact just seem to start to breathe in quite a bit to my self. As this time I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to look back on over towards my son.
As it was that I was not all too sure as to just whether or not I really knew the answer to the question that it was that she had even just asked. As it was that I did in fact just seem to simply just stand there and stare at her for just a little bit more time.
As I just then did in fact just seem to start to hear the voice of StoneTeller, all at once, at that. As it was that it seemed like he did in fact seem to know the answer to her question. As he then did in fact just seem to start to speak up to the both of us.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to realize that it was in fact the case. I then did in fact just seem to look back on over towards him once again. As I then did in fact start to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he must say to us just now, at that.
"What ever happened... What ever he hit his head on... It must have hit him in his head some how... He must have died from internal bleeding..." He said to us, at that. As it was that it did in fact just seem to make me feel even more sick, at that. As to the fact as to just what it was that he had even said.
As I knew that none of this would have ever happened what so ever, none the less. If it was not for the fact that it was that I had agreed with all of them, none the less. That we should have gone to go and look down out at the cliff, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I then began to start to just fall apart, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that I then did in fact just seem to feel like it was that I did in fact just simply begin to want to give up on this all. As I then did in fact just seem to breathe in quite a bit to my self.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to get my mind and my focus off of all of every thing else, at that. As I then did in fact just seem to simply just breathe in quite a bit to my self. As I then did in fact just seem to close my eyes.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to have done as such a thing like that of course, at that. As it was that I felt like I just wanted to have a little bit of some time of some peace to my self, all at the exact same time too. That was when it was that I just then once again, began to start to hear the voice of Hawk, as she just began to speak to me.
As it was that I then did in fact just seem to start to begin to do as such a thing like that. That was when I opened my eyes of course, as I felt the tears streaming down my eyes still. As it was that I then did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that she felt like she must even say to me just now, at that.
"Oister... Do you want me to help dig you a grave for him? We got what was left of the bodies of your mate and your kits... We dug them beside my sister and my mate..." She said to me, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I could clearly tell that she too was in fact in pain as to just what it was that she had even just said.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to stare at the she cat for just a little bit more time, at that. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to start to wake my self up. As I then did in fact just seem to simply just blink my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I did in fact just seem to start to begin to do as such a thing like that of course. That was when it was that I just then did in fact just seem to breathe in a little bit to my self. As I then did in fact just seem to nod back to her at first.
How ever, just as it was that I did in fact just seem to start to do as such a thing like that, never the less. That was when it was that I realized that this was some thing that I needed to say out loud. As I just then did in fact just seem to start to begin to speak to her once again, all at the exact same time too.
I could see the hurt and the pain that was in her eyes, just now. As I knew that I felt the same way that she just so happened to feel, at that. As I knew that she was in fact listening as to just what it was that I felt like I must even say to her just now, at that.
"Yes... I would very much like that..."
