Eloise pov

I'm in a fancy room waiting for anyone to come see me before i go to meet my death.

The room is filled with trinkets, a light blue soft couch against the wall. A wooden desk at the end of the room, which is infront of the tall double door that leads into the room, or into a long hallway. The room has a few paintings that consist of president Snow, one of him in his garden and the other in his office. The room has a few shelves filled with books.

I keep looking around the room trying to distract myself from my stupidity and my nervousness. I turn around at the sound of the door opening to see my family on the verge of tears.

"Why? Why did you do that?!!" My mother says crying "now we'll never see you again, you should've just let Belladoona go!" "I know! I know... I wasn't thinking, but we all know I have a better chance in the games then Belladoona" I tell my family. "Just.. just try to come back.." my dad says putting his hand on my shoulder bringing me into a hug. Eventually my whole family joins the hug. We all say goodbye knowing this could be our last chance of seeing eachother.

Once my family leaves Belladoona and her parents come in.
I'm surprised that they came to say something, I know I saved their daughter and I saved her life but I still wasn't expecting it. "Thank you! Thank you Eloise!" Belladoonas mother cries. She brings me into a quick hug than let's go. She's crying, but I don't think she's sad about me going to my death, I think she's happy I'm going and not her child which is fair.

Belladoonas mother steps aside to let her husband come talk to me. He puts his hand on my shoulder "I never really knew what to think of you since you dated my daughter and your a girl, but now I know your a good kid, Eloise... thank you, we'll always be greatful for you and keep you in our minds, if you survive feel free to stop by anytime" he says smiling while taking his hand off my shoulder stepping aside putting his hand on his wives.

Belladoona looks up from the floor, nervous to talk to me, or maybe she's nervous to thank me, to thank me for saving her life.

She walks up, not looking me in the eyes. "Belladoona?" I ask in a nervous tone. Why isn't she saying anything? why isn't she doing anything? I never expect much because I don't want to be disappointed, but I was expecting at least a small smile.

She looks up at me, her eyes puffy. "Thanks.. for helping me.." she says as if she's at a lost for words. Her parents never really liked me but at least they said more than my ex. I look at her trying not to look disappointed. "Your welcome, but I ask for one favor" I say looking at her with a small smile. She looks at me surprised as if I've just asked her to go hunting, which is something she hates. "Help my family for me, please" I tell her. She relaxes and nods with a slight smile.

The guards knock on the door opening it to let them out. I give Belladoona one last glance. One last smile. To which she returns.
