"Are you okay?" Raphael helps me up from under the bed.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Who is that?" I point toward the limp body on the floor.
"I don't know but we should probably tell your mother that she needs to check the locks." he snickers. We tell our mother about the incident and she is still frozen in shock when we head back to the guest room to deal with the body.
The only thing was, when we went to check on the man, he was gone. It was like he vanished out of thin air. One minute, he was slumped on the floor and then next he was nowhere to be found.
"Huh, that's weird." Raphael shakes his head. At this point, I'm shaking.
"Weird? Just weird? That's all you have to say?"
"Uh...yeah.""Thank you for saving me but now we need to find him before this happens again."
"I don't think that's a very good idea, Bree."
He sits on the bed and picks up one of the books I wrote.
Now to think of it, this situation sounds a lot like the book he has in his hands."Ooo, I see..." he says, humming
"Y-you probably shouldn't be reading t-that." I stutter."I'm actually really liking this scene." he says after a long pause.
Weird thing is, I know exactly what page he is on and what scene he's reading right now. He's reading one of those scenes. He closes the book and walks toward me, never faltering.
He puts his hands on my waist and swiftly pulls me towards his chest. He backs me up and I fall onto the bed. I am speechless.
"I need consent before I do what I want to do, mi amor." his voice lowers.
I lost my voice. I couldn't speak. Deep down, I knew what I wanted but...now? It was so abrupt. Out of the blue.
So I took a deep breath and spoke.
