Chapter 321 – Its Been Long

Fu Hee asked about Jia Li's health and how she was feeling now.

"Do you need me to send another professional to assist like Mrs. Zu?" Fu Hee asked with a smile.

"No Aunty, it will be a hassle. My doctor comes over to check up on me and the child, so it's fine." Jia Li said as she rejected her politely.

"If you say so. Don't forget to reach out to me if you have any troubles. Although my mother-in-law and a nanny helped me when I had Fu Hua, I still know a thing or two." Fu Hee said to her.

"Thank you, Aunty. I will seek your guidance when I need it." Jia Li said with a smile.

"Good." Fu Hee said and glanced at the child in her arms. The little girl looked so innocent as she watched her.

"Jia Li, we brought some soup for you, drink it while it's hot." Fu ChunHua said as she took out the flask from the bag and put it on a stool.

"Aunty, don't you think I am getting fatter? If I keep eating all these foods, I may not be able to fit in my clothes." Jia Li said.

She was tired of drinking soup already. In every meal she ate, she must either drink a medicinal herb or a soup cooked with some herbs.

"The soup is medicinal, it won't make you put on some weight. I like the way your cheeks are looking rounder, that shows that you are eating well." Fu ChunHua replied.

"Jia Li, don't worry about putting on a little weight because you can't escape it. You are still breastfeeding, so you need to be eating constantly. Don't worry, you can still lose the fat if you want." Fu Hee said to her in a gentle tone.

"Yes, don't worry about being fat. You just need to eat healthily and there is nothing wrong with putting on some weight. But even if you want to shed some fats, it's easy. We can get someone that will help you when you are ready. For now, concentrate and feed our girl well and you are already doing a good job." Fu ChunHua added with a smile.

Jia Li sighed and asked the servant by the side to turn the soup into a bowl and bring it for her.

Jia Li was worried about the changes made to her body. It would be easy to tell that something major went on in her body. She couldn't wait to return to her shape and go out in public.

She didn't want all eyes to be on her, as nobody knows she was married or even had a child. She was preparing to return to the limelight again and that will happen when she gets into FJ.

Breastfeeding made her eat a lot. Now, she has to wait till Jasmine is a little older before she could improvise but she doubts that she would do that

Jia Li planned on doing exclusive breastfeeding for Jasmine for 6 months before she could introduce other baby foods and Fu Hua supported that, as he wants his daughter to enjoy the basic nutrients required.

Since the soup had nothing to do with her putting on weight, Jia Li finished a bowl. When she asked if she wanted more, she rejected the idea.

When Jasmine cried because of hunger, Jia Li took out her food from the warmer and passed it to Fu Hee, so she could bottle-feed her.

"This is a good idea." Fu ChunHua said from the side and Fu Hee agreed with her. It was so convenient to bottle-feed a baby, especially in public.

As Jasmine was gradually getting used to bottle-feeding, she didn't encounter any trouble with sucking her milk from the bottle.

Before work hours were over, Fu Hee and Fu ChunHua left.

When Fu Hua came back from work, Jia Li and Jasmine were already in the bedroom. He went straight to kiss his wife and his sleeping daughter on their cheeks, before going to freshen up.
