"good morning sunshine, breakfast is ready! hurry up you don't want to be late for your first day in a new school right?" my mom said in a lovely tone. "yes I am awake" I replied with a sleepy voice.
I could smell waffles from downstairs and that smell fully woke me up as I can't wait to put it in my mouth.
"Everest, dad has hired a bodyguard for to follow you around in school, he goes to the same school as you! and your dad has arranged him to be in the same class as you"
"what why!?"
"well Everst you know recently this neighborhood had a kidnapping case, both me and your father are really worried about you after that incident."
"ok mom.."
"Now..get up! the maids have ironed your clothes for you so just go and shower alright?"
"ok."
I kind of miss living the life of having an average life where I could choose my own clothes and even iron them my own I honestly dislike it a lot when people do things for me because it feels like I am not capable of doing them even though I am!, yes I am happy for my dad that he got to be the CEO of this famous company but I really don't enjoy this Life.
"Everest..honey!" my mom knocked on the door "are you done getting ready??" she said. " I'm almost done" I replied.
"Also your bodyguard's name is Damian"
"ok mom."
"he is your age so don't worry," my mom said
This is the first time in my life that I am not excited to go to school.
*30 minutes later*
"you must be Everest", an unknown voice said. I turned around to see a boy in my school uniform.
"Who are you?" I said in curiosity, "Damian."
"ah I see your that bodyguard my dad hired"
"yea anyway our ride is here" *opens the car door for Everest*
*Everest Pov* "Man..I don't know how to start a conversation this is gonna be an awkward ride to school"
"not much of a talker huh?" Damian said with a smirk
"yep I mean Im new"
"well just try to avoid a girl named sal there"
"Why?"
"She's very annoying, you'll know why when you get there"
