I've basically spent all day so far thinking about him. I can't believe it. I actually can't believe that I met Ed Sheeran today. I had to be dreaming. I just had to. But I knew I wasn't. With the prominent coffee stains on my shirt and the constant checking of my contacts to see "Ed" amongst them, I just can't get over the fact that it's real.
Ed aside, I've been completely freaking out about my test. Im on the verge of tears whilst trying to remember some useless math facts. Dani stands up "Nonni you'll be fine!" she exclaims "No I won't. Im going to fail" I almost sob. "No you're gonna be fine I promise. I'm going to the tuck shop to get you something to eat ok?" She asks and I nod. "Just take it easy, you'll be alright." She smiles pulling her wallet out of her bag and disappearing out of the pavilion.
I sigh and fix my eyes back on my math notes trying to get all the information into my head before the bell went. Whilst Im reading through some trigonometry notes my phone buzzes. I sigh and get it out to check and floating in the middle of the screen in a green bubble is a message from Ed. Shit. I almost have a heart attack and quickly unlock my phone to check the message.
Ed: Hey Non, Just wanted to say good luck on your test, you're gonna be brilliant x Ed :)
I smile he's so cute. I can't believe he took the time to text me. I feel so special. I type in a quick reply: Hey! Thanks Ed, I really hope so x. Good that's sounds casual and not at all creepy or fangirly, good on ya Non. Just then Daniella returns with a box of Sushi she sits down "I got some Sushi for us. Why are you so happy?" she notices I grin and wave my phone in front of her face she furrows her eyebrows a bit whilst she reads it and then her eyes light up as she bolts up. "Aw that's so cute!" she squeals. "I know right, I almost died." I grin "See. You're gonna be fine" she beams handing me some sushi.
I eat and then revise over my notes again feeling much more confident now. Dani checks the time "Bell goes in about 2 minutes." she mumbles as I pack my things and she discards our empty sushi box. I fill up my water bottle and take a huge swig of the water. "There. I'm ready for this shit." I say Dani jumps "Hellz Yeah!" she exclaims fist pumping the air as one of the teachers walks past. She regains composure and blushes furiously and smiles. The teacher goes over to her "Hello ladies, Manon you don't mind if I steal Daniella for a bit right? I need her help with some new Drama concepts." he says.
I smile "It's fine sir." I say as Dani nods turning red. She hugs me "Good luck!" She exclaims before disappearing down the hall with the teacher. I sigh and feel my phone buzzing in my blazer pocket. I get it out and see that Im getting a call. I don't bother checking who it is and instead just answer it. "Hello?" I say into my phone "Hey! Nonni?" I hear a familiar voice say "Nonni it's me Ed" he says.
My eyes widen "Oh Hey Ed!" I exclaim "So how'd your test go?" he asks "Oh Im just about to go in." I say to him "Oh.." he trails off "Well goodluck love! You're gonna do brilliant!" he says cheerfully. I smile turning a bit red "Thanks Ed." I say "Hey, I was wondering if tonight you and your friend wanted to hang out?" he asks I grin "Definitely!" I pick up my bag whilst walking towards my class "Awesome! Meet at the cafe we were at this morning at say around 7?" he asks. "Sure, I'll see you there!" I smile "Awesome well I have to go now, Good luck again! Bye love" "Thanks Ed and Byee" I grin as he hangs up.
Woah, this day has definitely taken a turn for the better.
And I have a feeling that it's just gonna stay on that streak.
