Overwatch is back?

The soft clicking of my feet on the metal floor was the only sound that I could hear. It's late so no other sound could be heard, as most people are either asleep or keeping quiet as to not disturb anyone. I shouldn't be up at this time, but I've always had trouble sleeping and sensei is aware of this, so he doesn't have to worry about me. Once I get to my bedroom door, I take the keycard out of my hoodie pocket and scan it on the almost invisible scanner on the wall right next to my door.

I open my door and was instantly hit with the smell of cinnamon, "ah damn it, I left my candle burning while I was out" I murmured, " I really like this candle as well". I walked over to my desk to blow the candle out and picked up my phone which I had left there, next to all my photos. I turned it on and saw I had three new notifications, "It's like 2 in the morning, who the hell texted me this late?" Before clicking on the notifications to see who had texted, I walked over to my bed and sat down, a faint green light caught my eye. I looked at my pillows and saw Soba curled into a ball asleep. A faint smile crept its way onto my face, "At least one of us can get some rest, hey girl", I raised my hand to give her a pat on her head.

I looked back down at my phone, no new notifications so the person must be asleep now. 'Oh well, I might as well check it out anyway.' I clicked on the notification and logged into my phone to see who it was, it wasn't a number I have saved into my phone, "Huh, I wonder who it is?" I feel a nudge on my arm and look down to see Soba trying to look up at my phone, "Oh, did I wake you up, Sorry" I said as I picked her up and placed her on my lap, where she curled up into a position where she could see my phone. I looked at the notifications to see what they wanted.

Unknown: Yo, Genji. Sorry for texting ya so out of the blue I was only just able to get your phone                         number                                                                                                                                                                                       1:34am sent

Unknown: I would have liked to have stayed in contact a bit more after overwatch, but my                                    phone broke after an encounter with Ashe.                                                                                                                1:36am sent

Unknown: Oh yeah you probably don't know who i am do you- Its Jesse, Jesse Mcree your old                             teammate in Blackwatch. Idk what time it is for you as I have no idea where you                                   even are but text me back when you can its important                                                                                         1:57am sent

"Oh, so its Jesse, haven't talked to him in a long time" I look at the time on my phone, "2:08, so the last message was only 11 minutes ago, you reckon he's still up Soba?" I give soba another pat before replying.

Genji: Yeah I'm still up Jesse, still have problems sleeping sometimes and I left my phone while I              went for a walk. so, I didn't see your messages, sorry.                                                                                          2:09am read
