Still the old me

I looked down the hallway and see no one else is here. "I'm sorry but I would like to have a look around, see what has changed and what has not. So please excuse me-" "You were in overwatch before?" Baptiste questions, I nod as a response. "I was. Not in overwatch directly but I still stayed in the building the whole time." I went to walk away while he looked like he was contemplating things, "Do you mind if I come with you?"

"You want to come with me?" I ask confused, to which he nods. I guess I'm just used to people being either scared of me or just straight up hating me. 'Suppose I'm going to have to get used to people always wanting to talk to me, I don't look terrifying anymore.' "Sure. I don't talk much though, so I'm not sure if I'm the best person to have as a guide" I said while I started to walk to the training room as Baptiste caught up to me "I don't mind, a lot of my old coworkers didn't talk much either." He smiled at me. Something tells me this guy and I will be good friends.

It didn't take us long to get to the practice range. Right before opening the door, I heard a familiar voice call out to me "Hey partner! Why'd ya sneak off like that?" I turn around and look at Mcree, "You and Lena were having a nice conversation and I wanted to have a look around. You know more than anyone I'm not one for long conversations with people I'm not too familiar with" He stepped closer to me and Baptiste while lighting a cigar, "Yeah I know, but Lena wanted ta talk to ya. Yer never really talked to her before" I just shrugged my shoulders. Mcree looked in Baptiste's direction, "I've never seen ya before, Names Jesse Mcree" He spoke while holding his hand out for Baptiste who, in return, shook it "I'm Baptiste. It's nice to meet you" "I take it you two are going to train, mind if I join ya?" Again, I shrugged my shoulders. Neither me nor Mcree actually need to train. I was taught how to wield a sword practically since I could walk and Mcree has some of the best aim I have ever seen. It would be nice to see what the new guy could do though. "Sure, we were just coming to look but doing some training won't hurt." Baptiste said.

We had all been in the training room for less than 5 minutes and Mcree has already decided to show off to the new guy. All three of us were on one of the higher areas of the practice range, Jesse was trying to find a spot where he could see more than two of the training dummies. He eventually found a good spot and called Baptiste over. Baptiste walked over to the ledge, staying slightly behind Mcree not knowing what he was going to do. I was sat on the ledge of the building petting the dragon that had curled up in my lap. I wasn't paying attention to what the other two were doing until I hear 4 gunshots in rapid succession then Quadruple kill. I look up and see 4 of the training dummies on the floor broken, Mcree putting his gun away with a shit eating grin and Baptiste looking impressed. "Deadeye, really good for when there's a few of the enemy's around. It's not as good as Soldiers or Rienhardts but still useful" Mcree said. I look up at the two, "It doesn't have as large of an area as Rienhardts and Soldiers thing just obliterates everyone that he can see for like a minute. But your deadeye is good for getting rid of people who might be blocking an exit or something we need to get to, and you need to get to a higher area to get better use of it. And hey, at least you don't have to go charging into the enemy team." They both look at me like they forgot I was even there. "Yeah, I guess that is true. Forgot ya have basically memorized some people's attacks." He said while relighting his cigar. "How do you think I was able to fight so well with people without speaking?" Mcree just laughed.

We stayed in the practice room for another half hour just showing each other what we could do and getting to learn how Baptiste's healing/immortality shield works. All three of us decided to go look around the rest of base as both me and Mcree knew our way and could show Baptiste. As we were getting close to the door to go back into base, things began to become fuzzy.

I don't even remember what happened. I was just in a meeting with the Strike commander, Captain Amari and the rest of Blackwatch when everything suddenly went black. I woke up and saw Commander Reyes looking at me concerned. I went to sit up and noticed that I was already propped up against the wall. Looking around, I noticed that Captain Amari wasn't in the room anymore, less than a minute later she came back in with Dr. Ziegler following close behind. Once she noticed me, she immediately walked over and crouched down. "What happened?" She asked, looking around the room at everyone. I think she knew that I wouldn't answer her. Strike commander was the one to answer her, "Not too sure Dr. Ziegler, we were just in the middle of a meeting, and he passed out. No warning, nothing. He just fell over, almost knocking over agent Mcree." She just looked directly at me with a concerned look, "Did anything happen at all to signal that you were going to faint?" I shook my head. She stood up, "It's hopefully a one-time occurrence. I'm not too sure why he fainted and if this persists I'll look into it further.." Gabriel was still crouching right next to me looking at me with worry plastered all over his face.

Sometimes it happens at the most inconvenient of times. I was in the middle of a 1-against-I-don't-even-know-how-many-enemies when I felt lightheaded and then the darkness faded in around me. First thing I recognized after waking up was the sound of at least 10 bullets in the span of half a minute at least. Is Strike commander here? No... he doesn't come on Blackwatch missions. I pried my eyes open to look at what I could have heard, and saw a pissed off Gabe with one of his legs on either side of me, as if he was protecting me? I tried to sit up only to be gently pushed back down by a boot. I look up at Gabe who was now looking directly at me. "Stay down, at least for now. Remember Dr. Zieglier said you have to stay relaxed for about 5 minutes before doing anything." I just sat up anyway. I heard a sigh and then Gabe knelt down lifting my head up with his index finger. "You need to give us some more warning before you're going to faint Genji. Your fainting has been getting more prominent recently. I thought you were fucking dead when I saw you unconscious on the floor in the midst of all those enemies." He picked me up and starts walking to the aircraft, "when we get back you are going to see Dr. Zieglier. You have been fainting a lot more this past month, I'm worried about you."

"It seems you might have Vasovagal syncope, if not it's definitely syncope." Dr. Zieglier said while looking at her computer. I was silent for a while trying to process what I hear, "What?" She looked back at me finally realizing I don't know what she is on about. "Fainting spells. Syncope is most commonly caused by lack of blood or oxygen which is very likely for you, considering you don't have much blood to go around your body. Vasovagal syncope can be caused by things such as laughing too hard, hearing something you don't want to hear and many other things." She looks back at her computer taking a few notes, "To figure this out I would recommend keeping a notebook and every time you faint write down what you were doing at the time and any symptoms you were feeling beforehand." She smiled at me; as if to say I don't have a choice here do I.

I open my eyes to see a very concerned looking Baptiste and an even more confused looking Mcree. "I probably should have told you this still happens." I say while turning to look at Mcree. "Although, I wasn't expecting it to happen at this very moment." I turn my head to look at Bap "It's just fainting spells there's no need to worry, it's probably from lack of blood or oxygen to my brain. Which, considering 80% of me is bionic there is a very high chance of lack of blood to my brain" I sit up and look at the other two, "I'll be fine in a few minutes, you reckon Dr. Zielgier still has that thing that tells her when I fainted and where if I'm in base?" Mcree started fiddling with his cigar, "I don' think she's even here yet, cause Tracer is close to Winston she can easily figure out who has decided to listen to the recall and who hasn't. She said Dr.Zieglier hasn't arrived yet, but we all know she's coming back."

I stood, using Mcree's arm to hoist myself up. Deciding to go back to my room for the rest of the afternoon until we were either needed for something or it was time to eat. It would also be more comfortable for Mcree and Baptiste to take of their armor, wearing it must be uncomfortable sometimes. I do also wonder if Zenyatta is still there, he might have wandered off to look around but he would probably want me there so he wouldn't get lost.

When we got back the fist thing I did was sit down on my bed, Jesse sat on the desk chair and Baptiste sat on top of the desk. "I see ya teacher left." "I didn't think he would stay in my room. His stuff is also gone so soldier probably took him to his room" I lie down on the bed. 'Taking a nap right now sounds like a good idea right now.... but' I take a quick look at the other two in the room. 'Baptiste is here.' if it was just Mcree it would be fine. Sleeping around new people is a bit-

*Knock Knock*

I quickly sat back and looked at the door. I was about to stand up when I notice the cowboy moving to open the door, he moves slightly out of the way after he does so I can see who's at the door. All I see is two familiar faces, "Ah, good morning Angela, same to you Fereeha"
