After everyone ate, Trevor pulled Kate towards the dance floor and started dancing with her.
Eventually more people came dancing and having fun.

A few hours have passed and most of the guests went home.
Trevor was getting a drink for Kate when Mike walked towards her.

"Hey, do I know you?" He asked

Shit, what do I do now

"Uhm no" I said short and fast

"That snake tattoo? I've seen it before, I'm not sure where" he said

He was stepping closer when Trevor put an arm around me and kissed me.

"Your drink baby"

Trevor looked at Mike and back at me.

Mike looked at Trevor "I know you from somewhere, Trevor isn't it? Kate's best friend?" He said turning his head towards me again.

"Haven't heard from her in a while. I heard she left your house." Trevor said

Mike looked down "yeah, but she isn't at her place either." He said looking back up.

"Really? I didn't know, I you'll excuse us, we're gonna go talk with some other guests"

Trevor walked us back to the guests until Mike spoke up again

"Does she know who you're really are? Kate?" Mike asked

Trevor looked behind him to look Mike and walked further again.

I whispered to Trevor "thank you" and gave a kiss on his cheek

Mike left but before he got in his car he put a tracker under Kate's car.

A few days have passed since the masquerade ball, Mike found the location of her house.

He went to the location and started looking around but not for long. One of her guards caught him and threw him in the basement.

I was in the kitchen when a guard entered.

"Boss, we found some guy looking around the house."

Can't I have some peace in this house?!
No cause I'm the fucking mafia

"Is he locked up?"

"Yes"

"You can go now"

I finished drinking my coffee and went to the basement.
I looked at the security camera and saw Mike sitting on the ground.

He saw the camera and spoke up.
"Hello Dazina, or should I say Kate?"
"How's your brother?"

I got furious, let some gas in the cell so he wouldn't see and entered, I grabbed his collar and started punching him.

My knuckles were covered in his blood but didn't stop or care.
Trevor came running in and grabbed me by the waist, dragging me out of the room.

"What the hell are you thinking?!" He yelled

"He comes into MY home, and who know how he knows where I live and how he got in?! And has the guts to ask about Jeremy?!"

"I'm gonna kill that asshole" I yelled even more

Trevor sighed "I know, but because of this, he know now, he figured it out that you're Kate."
"And he's trying to get under your skin"

"I. don't. care" I said with a angry voice

Trevor shook his head and walked away "I warned you"

I watched him walk away and looked back at Mike who was smiling.
"Come on Kate, stop acting, sorry Dazina"

"Kill him!" I yelled towards the guard

The guard was holding a gun towards him.

"WAIT WAIT!" He yelled

"Sorry? Didn't hear you"

I took my own gun from behind my back and shot him in the leg. Blood started running out of his leg.

"Why did you come here? To threaten me?"

"No no no, I want to help you!" He said quickly

"Help me?! HELP ME?! After you tried to kill my brother?! No thank you!"

I was about to walk away when he spoke up

"I know who took him, it was Matt."

I stopped walking, the anger grew and I  turned around

"Matt?! He was the one to tell me Jeremy was still alive!"

"He's playing with you"

"And you're not" she said

"I uhm I .."

"Boohoo Michael" I said making a sad prowling face

I was about to walk away again when he kept talking

"Shut up! Dude stop talking I don't care"

"Just please, let me out"

"No!"

"I can prove to you that Matt is lying"

I stood still "fine, prove it"

I opened the door and went to the kitchen.
Mike followed behind me limping on his leg

"Coffee?" I asked

"With or without poison?" He responded

"Very funny ha-ha" I said sarcastically

"Just water please"

I gave him a bottle of water, it was silent until he spoke up

"I like this girl more than the one that lived with me."

"Why? Because I kill people? Because I'm rich? Because-"

"Cause this is the real you" he said cutting me of

I smiled a little

"Do you have a first aid kit?"

"For?"
"Right your leg"

I cleaned the wound and pushed harder on purpose.

"Careful" he yelled

"No"

He was holding his leg when he jumped up scared.

"Oh hey ka" the black snake came around her neck

"You're really scared of a snake?" I laughed

"I-I'm not"

"Than pick her up"

"No"

"How many snakes do you have?"

"3, she's new"

I got up and looked into the fridge to get something, I turned around and Mike was standing right in front of me.

Really?!

"You're really close" I said trying to move to the side but he put his arms next to me.

"I knew I recognized that snake tattoo on your leg"
"I mean Dazina's leg"

Our eyes interlocked, we both got closers until our lips meet.
I pulled away but he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me toward him and kissed me again.
