Going into something knowing that not knowing what expect gives you advantage cause won't there's nothing to expect when the only thing to expect is not knowing.

As the search continues for my mother and the others that went missing I couldn't, hold back tears if something bad happen to her. Knowing how evil heart men can be to their victims linger in the back of my head.

"My queen, realms are vulnerable. We must activate the trials if have chance of surviving this great catastrophe." The head general of my defense interrupted my train of thought.

"It been so long, has it drastically come to that." I interjected. "Have we heard back from Wakanda." I questioned.

"We still waiting on communications on their side." He silently said.

"Even so, the ancestors are not here to help us through this all." I paused. "Let's hold on and see what they think this idea."

"As you wish, I just the best for this kingdom." He bowed stepping out my corridors. Leaving alone once again with my thoughts.

"I step into my mediation room, trying to connect with someone at the other side. Silence filled my mind and a few moments there was no response. Trying not to think of negative thoughts to interrupt my energy.

"History will repeat, there's no other way but activate the trials." A voice boomed in my head. That was fast like they were here the whole time.

"Have to go through the trial to activate your true divine powers." The voice continued. How can I do that if the trials haven't been done in the past century. "It's destined you'll figure it out." It replied. Not knowing who it could be the monotone voice lack energy due to recent lack of energy from mother nature.

Does it mean they will come to our aide to help if this is destined as they said. Will we win this war or is it going change my nation forever. So many questions that left unanswered. The presence of the energy faded maybe I became antsy.

Now left with more on my mind then before, how can they know without telling me or even my mother before it all started. Could something be more powerful than the ancestors themselves.

Is that even possible even if so, how can I win let alone stand against a threat that strong. "Ugh... I can't these thoughts wave my prior knowledge of running this nation." I said out loud to convince myself I have fighting chance.

I went to my office to send out an email to all the elders for a meeting to discuss to set up the trials cause even I don't know the entirety of the process I hope they can shine a light on this situation.

After sending the email on my desktop, I turn around on my rolling chair to face out the window the of my office that display the view of the main area of the kingdom not seeing a soul out on street.

The news of the queen mother being snatched from castle without being detected gave a sense high risk on safety in the kingdom. Even when I tried to keep it from the public, so much is going on that how can an information like that can kept in secrecy during a time like this.

Letting time fly by I regain my conscious from a quick nap from lack of sleep, it was time for the meeting with the elders. I'm kind of terrified of what will be said in the meeting not knowing the horror stories that was passed down from generations to generations. What will be in stored in every trial, what will become of me if I do survive this.

Walking down the hall towards the meeting hall, hearing chatters behind these doors that I recently dread walking into. As I paused to regain my posture knowing that they will be concerned for my mental health.

The door open to see remorse, love, and concern in their eyes as I take a sit at the head of the table.

"Let's start this meeting with why I need to these trials?" As I look throughout the room. Looks of contemplating on their words before one spoken up. Elder Zye she's one of the oldest of the group known as the greatest herbalist of her generation.

"It's sets of trials to see if your fit to have the powers of the ancestors as you are still living in this realm."  She said in a nurturing way.

"And how would that benefit me with the problem at hand?' I ask back.

"As we know they are from something the elders haven't seen before." Elder Saair input her thoughts, she well known for vast knowledge of the kingdom, for her to said that gave me chills. "Having a living person that much power can strength nation as whole, and it will evolution for our people as well." She ended her statement.

"It's about knowing and trusting the foundation they started and helping to this day." They continued their lesson on the trials.

"You'll go through spirits that they gave offers to protect and deities that some to this day follow." So much information I'm learning that I haven't heard before.

"You are going to connect so much energy in you, that will be the hardest to do if you're not concentrated enough." The story ended leaving with astonished look on my face.

"You have always been a bright child; I believe you were destined to be the one." One said that gave a little encouragement.

"So are you willing to do it." Everyone waited for my response to that question.

"There's no other way, so I have to be." I chuckled shyly. "What should I do first?"

"We the elders will prepare for the events and mages will blessed the area and will be there to regulate your energy throughout the trials." One said with proudness with my answer.

"So, let's begin."
