AFTER DATE
"How was your date?" Bora asked her while he was driving her home after her date finished as he had promised before.
"Incredible" she simply answered.
"Mmm incredible " he repeated in surprise.
"Yes, why are you asking?" She wanted to know the reason behind it. She needed to.
"Am I not allowed to ask if I'm really helping you to reach your dream Ada?"
"It seems like you're on the right path, Bora."she bent down to take off her high heels.
His gaze turned to Ada's dress and her closed buttons got his attention.
'She is lying again.' He thought and shook his head.
"If he annoys you or doesn't treat you well, you'll tell me right?"
"He is a caring and supportive one. Don't worry about me."
Bora loosened his tie a bit.
" By the way I got your car from the car repair shop Ada." he changed the topic.
" Oh really? Where is it? "
" I've parked it in my parking. It's all repaired, now you can call it a 'car'. Do you need it tonight?"
" I was going to say thank you but you ruined it. Shading Güneş is shading me you know? let's go to your house. I can't let her stay more with someone like you Bora." Her car is so precious to her and Bora getting jealous over a car is something they both know well.
" Hm? Like me? How am I? " Bora took a look at her and he wanted to know how he really is to her eyes.
" You...you are cold, selfish and aggressive." She said without hesitation. She found out that it's certain that he is accepted now after what she saw on his phone, again without hearing the truth from himself.
" And he is a supportive and caring one?" he asked without realizing that he said what passed through his mind in front of Ada.
" Yes ! We promised we won't hide anything from each other, we will always be honest both with ourselves and to each other." Their eyes locked to each other for a few seconds. They were talking without words and they were aware of it.
"How fast!" He knew something was wrong and whatever she said was more like a hint.
"Guess what! He will join us in the gym, he can be your friend too if you meet him you'll change your mind" Ada wasn't going to back down.
"Thank you Ada I don't need a friend like him" he sounded harsher this time.
"Bora he is a safe person to hang out with" she didn't lose the last chance to disagree with him even though she knew she shouldn't do that at that time.
They reached his house and suddenly he stopped the car and got out of the car in anger.
'Did I go too far?' she thought and got out of the car too.
Bora was standing by the car with his hands covering his face.
"Bora? What's wrong with you?" She asked him.
"Don't you know what you are doing to me?" he started walking toward the entrance door and Ada followed her with bare feet.
"What did I do to you?" she asked him although she knew her words made him suffer but she was mad at him too.
"Stop pretending that you're not aware of anything Ada, because it hurts me " He stopped in the garden after he saw her without her high heels on.
"Bora you've accepted to help me until you leave and you're doing it. Why are you trying to change my mind about him? "
"Ada I'm leaving tomorrow, I've received the acceptance letter." He sat on the lounge chair beside the pool and shook his head.
He finally said but it was too late. For everything.
"I'm not surprised. At least I'm not going to change your mind or stop you Bora." She wanted to give him a lesson. He should have told this sooner but he didn't.
"What if I want you to stop me?" He looked up at her not caring about how desperately he sounded.
"How can I?" She asked with a lower tone.
"Don't you see me Ada? Don't you hear me? Is it enjoyable for you to see me like this?" Bora's trembling voice was telling her the truth.
"Bora? Why are you talking like that? I've always been here for you. " Ada walked closer to him. Now she was standing in front of him.
Bora didn't answer. It was at that time, Ada made sure not everything can be paid by revenge and her plans. They both chose the wrong way and now they were aware that this doesn't work anymore.
Ada's hand made its way to his face and started caressing his cheek, Bora leaned to it to feel her warmth better. He couldn't help and instinctively trapped her body in his arms and put his head on her chest while she was still standing.
'Ah Bora... ' she thought.
"Don't move ...let's stay like this for a second." Bora said as he took a deep breath, intoxicating her scent. The strong unspoken feelings were betraying him. Ada's finger carded through his hair, touching his golden curls gently. Bora was experiencing all types of emotions at once. Anger, jealousy, sadness, frustration and neediness.
Ada was sure what she heard that day wasn't a dream like those one can't realize if it was from real life or just a dream. It was real he gathered all his bravery and said I love you to her that morning.
"Ada...I-" He couldn't finish his sentence when he felt her lips brushing against his lower lip, surprising him and herself. Bora's eyes were fully closed, his body was unable to move and his lips lost the power under the heat of her warm lips. Like it wasn't enough her hand travelled to his ear caressing his earlobe softly, driving him crazier . Finally, his lips learned how to move, he tilted his head a bit and started kissing her back carefully but eager at the same time, he grabbed her hips and pulled her closer to him without breaking the kiss. In a matter of seconds, she was sitting on his lap. Their bodies were so close and they could feel their heart race. She made a sound in surprise. A wave of cold got him when she let out that sound.
'Did I go too far? Did she regret it?' He wondered.
"Ada..." He said with his husky voice, looking up at her after he parted his lips with tongue. His heartbeat got faster and the fear of her regretting this made him look pale.
"I didn't know you're this much shy." she said finally, waking him up from his overthinking. Both of them were breathing heavily and were surprised by the kiss they shared.
"I didn't expect you to use my kissing tricks against myself ."
Bora's one hand moved to her thigh like it wasn't enough he squeezed it a little to change the power balance while he kept the other hand on her back.
