good morning here we are with another part! i like this one :)

Natasha disappears for a week.

Not just from Wanda's sight, but from the compound entirely. When Wanda asks Steve, he tells her that she's off on a mission and she'll be back soon.

But soon is an entire week and Wanda can't even bear to turn on the TV because she's so upset. She hates that she latches on to people. People leave, they die, and she's just going to have to get used to that.

She doesn't need a wife, a husband, or anyone other than Pietro. Pietro will always have her back, she knows that.

So she spends the week with him, learning some of the other training that Steve's done with him and letting him walk her through the video games he's started playing. Sam's also around, and he teaches her some of his favorite games.

They show her GTA V and laugh when she gets flustered over a virtual lap dance - one she didn't know was coming, in her defense. They also show her Minecraft, a game where she can do whatever she wants and she can't help but find it a little overwhelming until she begins a game with Sam and Pietro. She likes the farming and building parts the most.

Tony even ends up visiting for a couple of days and offering her his Amazon account, where she finds books and books and books to read. She ends up ordering a bunch and they come a couple of days later. She's run out of space on her shelves and now stacks them on her desk.

She wonders what Natasha's going to think when she sees all of the books. If she sees all of the books. Maybe Natasha doesn't want to hang out with her anymore. She doesn't want to hurt her in her sleep again.

Well, she can't do that if she isn't even sleeping here.

Either way, Natasha showed up this morning, knocking on Wanda's door and reminding her about training. Wanda was half-asleep when it happened, though, and half-convinced she dreamt it until she went downstairs.

She and Steve are conversating on the mats when Wanda makes it downstairs, and she catches on to something about Clint's house.

Maybe she and Pietro are being uninvited from Christmas. That sucks.

"Wanda," Steve smiles when he sees her, "you're training with me today."

"I've been training with you all week," Wanda responds, a little confused, "I thought that since Natasha's back, we'd be training together."

"Natasha's training on her own and Sam and Rhodey are out of town on army business. Just you, me, and Pietro today."

Natasha doesn't look at her, instead focusing on something on the wall behind her. It's bizarre.

But Wanda nods, "Alright. What're we doing, then?"

Steve then lays out the morning's plans and Natasha leaves the area, going upstairs to where the dummies are. Wanda doesn't pay attention to Natasha for long, though, knowing she has to keep her eyes on what's important. Training. Making sure she can stay in control when she's fighting. Being an Avenger.

It's stupid, though, because she'd much rather be trained by Natasha.

She makes it through training, though, and they're back upstairs for lunch at 11:30 with the rest of the day for themselves.

Sam ends up coming back to the compound around two, catching Pietro and Wanda hanging out in the cinema room playing a racing game that Wanda doesn't remember the name of.

"Damn, Wanda," Sam sets himself down in one of the seats, "You're beating his ass."

"I'm a fast learner," Wanda responds as she crosses the finish line for the second-to-last time. She doesn't mention how she's been practicing when she's bored, finding the winding around turns in the game soothing. It becomes rhythmic after a while.
